09/12/2025: I simply introduced myself to wash my hands, something a very friendly gentleman allowed me to do, and upon leaving I was practically chased away like an insect when a "woman," or at least someone who looked like one, asked me, "WHO ARE YOU???" as if I were about to rob her bar. A very strange and disrespectful welcome, but I have a pretty good idea why I was greeted that way... ^^

Each dish delights the eyes with its exquisite presentation and enchants all the senses with its succulence. The portions are generous. The decor is magnificent; the dining room is very spacious and truly bright. Photos: Poached egg in red wine, pan-fried mushrooms and country bacon, meat jus. Pollock fillet with a creamy herb broth. Chocolate fondant. The poaching of the egg. Sylvie delicately pairs the egg and the wine. This perfect union creates the sweetest sensation on the palates of every captivated and delighted guest. 24/09/2024: While looking for a good restaurant, one of my friends recommended the LA CITADELLE restaurant to me and frankly I will come back because everything was perfect, the services were taken care of, the advantage is (the chef) who the design of the restaurant does wonders for you with a terrace and a very nice panorama and to finish with the kindness of the owner with his delicious digestives and the chat etc... wow 👌

23/09/2024: Very good time spent with family on Saturday for my birthday.. I had already organized my husband's.. the welcome is very friendly.. we wanted to taste everything.. everything is homemade.. that's for sure!! I will go back soon.. thank you to the entire citadel team…

03/12/2025: Fantastic experience in Albertville! The value for money is excellent. The team is young, dynamic, and very welcoming. The decor is beautiful, and the spaces are truly lovely: coworking, swimming pools, sauna, gym… everything is designed for a great stay! The on-site restaurant is superb, with attentive staff. Ideal for working during the day and relaxing in the evening. I highly recommend it!

08/12/2024: Very disappointed! the hot hot food is simply not good, a very pronounced nutty aftertaste, the pancakes were good but nothing extraordinary, the welcome....: the 2 people in the kitchen are unpleasant and unfriendly. Only the newly recruited waitress was very pleasant! And the salty note!! I won't go back!

10/01/2025: To start off, the food is amazing, but portions are not worth the price. I recommend the Chicken Kadhai and Garlic Naan. The Lassi is amazing too, it is not only tasty but served in the traditional Punjabi glass. Also, the veg samosa was tasty as well with really fresh chutneys. Now, coming the owner and the "unique" service we got. We tried to call the restaurant at around 7pm on a weekday but no one picked up. When we arrived, the restaurant was almost empty except for a table of 2 and a table of 4. There was already a party of 4 people were waiting and asking to be seated. The owner said every table in the house was reserved. We also asked and were told the same thing. Until this point, everybody was conversing in French. Since we are from India, we tried asking in Hindi. We also pointed at the table for 2 which did not have a reserved plaque on them. He told us that the tables can't be moved and hence a party of 4 cannot sit. As we were quite hungry after a day of sledging in Val Thorens, we suggested that we can sit separately, 2 on each table. He reluctantly accepted. The 4 people who were there before us then started speaking in English and demanded that they be seated too. They were also ready to sit separately. (They were two girls and two guys. You could guess they were somewhere from middle-east as the girls were wearing hijab). As we sat on, he continued to refuse service to random people, but we did see 2 french couples (they were separate, not a party of 4) seated without any questions or hassle or any confrontation as we had. Until this point, we were all ready to give the owner the benefit of the doubt, as the food was amazing. And we were served the order food well. As we finished,a on were ready to pay, the owner told us in Hindi, that because we are speaking same language and are from same land he let us sit. And he was forced to sit the other 4 people because he let us sit. He went on to tell that he has to "maintain" a good reputation, as "these" people cause his restaurant's reputation to go down. Here I confirmed what I suspected, but I would let you draw your own conclusions. This is why I gave the restaurant 1 star. If you are in the "good" demographic, you will be served well. Otherwise, just don't bother going here. Edit: I read some other reviews and this seems to be the pattern of the owner to refuse service for "random" reasons. But I am sure the owner has an "algorithm" for Refusal.

06/12/2024: Très médiocre manque de personnel qualité des repas à revoir viandes limite mangeable commandé un entrecôte cuisson à point reçu bien cuit . Avec quelques frites

14/11/2024: Après avoir attendu plus de 5 minutes à l'accueil avant que l'on m'attribue une place [je précise qu'il était 13h20 et que personne d'autre n'attendais devant moi] j'ai patienté à ma place en attendant désesperement la salade l'accueil....mais rien. La serveuse me passait devant en me disant qu'elle arrivait....mais rien. Elle debarassait d'autres clients pendant que moi....j'attendais au moins qu'on me prenne ma commande !!! Je me suis levée et partie . Erreur de casting en ce qui concerne certains membres du personnel.
