22/03/2026: We are seasonal workers at a spa and came for a 40-minute Japanese head spa treatment each. I have to say, I won't be going back. It's a shame because many things could be improved and many things simply weren't up to par. First of all, all the staff only spoke English, even though we were in a large French resort. There was one therapist for the entire spa, responsible for cleaning, treatments, reception, and everything else. I find this unacceptable, especially since it affected the quality of service. When we arrived, the therapist told us the head spa unit wasn't hot and that we would have to wait 10 minutes (which turned into a 20-minute delay). He made us fill out an excessively long questionnaire, showed us to the changing rooms where there were no robes or slippers, and told us the pool water was cold. The lockers were dirty inside, and we weren't even shown around to find our way around the spa. The treatment itself wasn't too bad, but it could be greatly improved. You could hear every little noise the whole time (the shower head, the cupboards, the heating element, etc.). Also, a client knocked on the door during the treatment and opened it, so the therapist had to stop to attend to the man's request and left twice during the treatment. As for the facilities in the spa, it's shameful. Luckily, the two hours were included in the price of the treatment, because paying for them separately would have been painful: a hammam that smelled damp, two saunas, one of which didn't work and the other barely heated up, no proper tea room or snack area, and a freezing cold pool where, by the way, the therapist was throwing all the dirty water into it when he was scraping the floor. To summarize, we were supposed to finish our treatments at 5:45 PM and we didn't leave until 6:30 PM, so we were significantly late. To top it all off, there were leaks everywhere in the hallways, so the therapist had to put down lots of towels on the floor. In short, this establishment does not meet 4-star standards, and neither does the spa. I want to clarify that I have nothing against the therapist and the staff, who I can see are doing their best, but the working conditions and professionalism are sorely lacking in the overall quality of the hotel.

12/03/2024: Best bar in Val. Small menu but fantastic simple food. Friendly staff, even friendlier dog, great atmosphere, mix of locals and visitors - and none of the noisy Brit groups.

22/03/2024: Belle salle de restaurant côté déco Chalet . La partie moderne ( bar ) est décevante , ambiance froide . Le service, le personnel est très bien, très professionnel et très agréable . Les plats sont décevants (rapport qualité/prix) soufflet au beaufort sans goût de fromage : le goût d’œufs était très prédominant , le pot au feu était insipide , le cochon de lait à la broche manquait de saveur et de croustillant auquel on peut s’attendre dans une rôtisserie . Ce n’est pas un plat gourmand . La côte de bœuf était très bonne , tendre, bien cuite à notre goût saignant . Pour Les pommes grenailles : on fait mieux à la maison. On nous a offert un Génépi d’excellente qualité et nous les en remercions.

15/03/2024: Cadre très joli, service correcte, le serveur renverse une premier fois l’eau sur la table et fait semblant de rien, puis renverse le vin, fait toujours comme si de rien.. 🤔; puis mon entrée salade non assaisonnée, mon plat “gourmand” ne l’ était pas et les champignons avaient l’air en boite trop cuits 😱…bref expérience très médiocre pour un prix plus que élevé! 244€ pour deux et manger très très moyen 🥵

11/03/2024: Pour nous, le menu crêpe a été parfait (6/6 personnes contentes), dans une ambiance charmante et pour un prix très raisonnable au cœur de Val d'Isère. L'humour sait être au rendez-vous entre l'équipe en service et les clients. Du coup, même les vieux qui font encore du ski sont bien accueillis !! D'aucun(e) se reconnaîtront à travers ce dernier mot sympathique. Nous avons passé un bon moment, coupant agréablement la journée de ski. Ne pas oublier, sinon de réserver, du moins d'arriver de bonne heure... c'est vite rempli de monde.

14/07/2024: Dejeuner sur la terrasse bien plaçée au soleil.avec un siege confortable !!!belle et bonne assiette bien garnie.serveur bien attentionéet efficace !) Une bonne idée a recomandé.

10/04/2024: There were 3 of us dining at this lovely restaurant. We had 2 starters and 2 courses between us and there was plenty of food which was freshly cooked cooked and was delicious. This restaurant is highly recommended
