27/03/2024: Onvriendelijk, ongeïnteresseerd en alles met tegenzin. Met andere woorden wegblijven. Het is teveel om een tafel te ruimen en nog maar hun klanten te woord te staan.

18/08/2024: Service is good. Pancake not freshly baked, but warmed up. Feels like cardboard.

20/04/2024: A great place to start your day with a Coffee and a Galette before you hit the slopes, and afterwards as well with some beers and friendly chat. Staff very friendly.

14/02/2024: Amazing place. Great food and relaxed atmosphere. And the staff is over the top. Stumbled by mistake and came back smothered second night.

25/01/2024: This I must admit that this is my Val D'isere restaurant. The food is typically local. It's simple food just done really well. I was there twice this week and despite my lamb being ever so slightly overdone, it was still so beautifully tender and so full of flavour. Last night there was ten of us and we all could not find fault with the varied selection of food that spoilt our table.

07/04/2024: Absolutely incredible food, beef bourginon, pizza, carbonara and potatoes with cheese and sausages were all amazing. Lovely, friendly people managing the restaurant. Fabulous value in an expensive area - we have already booked to go back later in the week! Looking forward to it.

04/04/2024: We had a really lovely evening! The staff are super friendly and we loved our pizzas and snails encased in an edible outer casing. Steak and ratatouille was delicious too! Would definitely recommend!

03/04/2024: We know the French have a particular reputation - some may say it’s deserved, others would beg to differ. Sadly our experience at this regular favourite this week has fully turned us off, not to return. The owner, whom we have met several times and who has recommended to us some excellent wines, was away. Instead the place was run by two staff - one who was particularly obnoxious so as to make us question whether she actually was trying to get us to leave before even serving us. Stone faced, inattentive, obnoxiously rude when communicating with us. Totally rude when we asked for basic things that should be a given. Threw plates and glasses on the table. Never poured anything - was for us to sort (though that wasn’t our beef with her - it was part of the package). Ignored us when the place was empty. We gave her colleague a decent tip, as he seemed to care about his job and his clientele, and we said we hope he didn’t share it with her. Great wine is great wine, but drinking great wine when you’re made to feel you’re unwelcome makes it taste rather off.

25/02/2024: Warm welcome, excellent value for money for a restaurant in the center of Val d’Isère! The waiters listen to our requests and give us the best advice regarding the beautiful wine list they offer. We had an assortment of tapas with the large mixed board and the tataki and we tried the two desserts: a treat! The cuisine is refined but gourmet. This is a great address not to be missed for a successful evening with friends. See you soon ! :)

16/08/2024: Très bons plats et serveur sympathique, malgré le fait qu’il manquait manifestement du personnel à cause du nombre de clients. La rançon du succès ?

07/08/2024: Bonne qualité un peu trop généreux en quantité … Toujours peur d’ en laisser dans les assiettes .. Nourriture de qualité

14/08/2024: Très déçu par le prix de 36,00 € pour une croziflette, une tarte et une bière pression en 25 cl. Je pense que je me suis fait avoir par la demoiselle à la caisse. Après réflexion, il semblerait bien m'être fait voler. C'est pas bien d'arnaquer les touristes. Passer votre chemin, vous êtes prévenus... Dimanche 11 août vers 14h. Je comprends pourquoi les restaurants ont peu de monde, il faut mieux prévoir la glacière, on moins on n'est pas déçu. J'aimerais bien connaître les prix que j'ai consommé. 31/03/2024: We were staying in the self catering apartments behind the restaurant, for our last night we ate out in the restaurant and we really enjoyed the meal and the service was excellent. After a week of cooking our own meals in a very basic apartment kitchen having a meal in a really good restaurant was a treat

27/03/2024: A clean, newly refurbished 4 star hotel that is very conveniently located—5 minute walk to gondola and across the street from a bus stop. No frills but nice. I wish they began breakfast service before 8 am which I found odd but other than that, no complaints.

It's a cozy hotel with Belle Epoque charm, a restaurant but also a meeting place with regulars, a good atmosphere, staff full of humor, attentive and smiling😃. Like the boss, always active and dedicated, frankly good value for money. Thank you, happy Uzureens

09/03/2024: Grande et belle salle confortable . Sommelière très professionnelle et particulièrement sympathique . Le service est parfait . Quant au dîner , c est une succession de surprises , des saveurs incroyables avec des produits régionaux . C est délicieux . La présentation des plats est mise en valeur par de la vaisselle originale . Ce restaurant mérite 2 étoiles. Nous reviendrons encore !!
