06/09/2026: In itself, a nice location and neat rooms.
The downside is the fact that the rooms are located above the goat stable… there is a pungent smell and there are a lot of flies outside. Therefore, quietly sitting on the terrace is not really possible.
The breakfast was decent and sufficient.

02/09/2026: A lovely mountain restaurant, with a fun scavenger hunt starting from the top of the Crêt de la Brive chairlift. The day I was there, it was a grill, quite good, with quick service and reasonable prices, and a superb view over the upper Neuvachette valley and the Aiguille Noire.
Note: in summer, they don't accept credit cards, so bring cash.
01/09/2026: A beautiful spot at altitude
A truly wonderful discovery at Chalet des Mégégers, in an absolutely magnificent mountain setting.
The view is undoubtedly one of the place's greatest assets, with an exceptional panorama of the surrounding peaks, notably the Aiguille Noire, which gives the landscape a spectacular presence.
The service also deserves to be highlighted: welcoming, attentive, and professional, with a truly high standard of hospitality.
As for the food, the dishes are delicious and entirely up to what one would expect from a restaurant located at altitude. The prices remain consistent and reasonable considering the setting, the altitude, and the location.
It's also an ideal stop after several hours of hiking in the summer or a great day of skiing in the winter: a place where you can relax, recharge, and fully enjoy the warm atmosphere of the mountains.
A pleasant place to take a break, savor a good meal, and take the time to admire an exceptional panorama.
A wonderful experience, with special mention for the view and the quality of service. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

06/06/2026: I was very disappointed by the reception from the staff, who were extremely rude. The meal was bland and tasteless, apart from the canned vegetables. It's a shame, as the atmosphere is perhaps the only redeeming feature. I would only recommend it if you haven't eaten in three days.
02/04/2026: Great place for an evening with friends! We enjoyed a delicious fondue, cold beers, and a perfect tiramisu. The warm and stylish decor made the atmosphere even more pleasant.

12/07/2026: Last-minute stay, one phone call and it was all sorted. Booking made with complete confidence over the phone. Modern, quiet, comfortable, and very clean room. Excellent meals, enjoyed on-site, with attentive service.
We will definitely return; the conversation with Alexandre and his warm welcome made all the difference (that's my Norman side showing 😉).
29/06/2026: We spent one night at this hotel during our motorcycle road trip on the RGA. The location is pleasant and the rooms are adequate, but the restaurant was very disappointing. The salad advertised with homemade smoked duck breast and homemade foie gras arrived without duck breast (it was replaced with smoked ham) or foie gras, consisting mainly of salad and a few pieces of Beaufort cheese. The ham tasted questionable. The dessert selection was very limited and unappealing; we ultimately decided to go elsewhere for a decent dessert. The next day, my wife was ill (vomiting, stomach pains), which forced us to stop at a pharmacy, strongly suggesting a problem related to the meal. Not ideal for a motorcycle trip. We do not recommend the restaurant at this establishment.

🚴♂️ Location: Fantastically situated between the legendary Col du Galibier and the Col du Télégraphe – a perfect starting point for ambitious road cyclists and mountain lovers. Directly on the Route des Grandes Alpes, quiet and close to nature.
🍳 Breakfast & Restaurant: The breakfast is plentiful, fresh, and flavorful – ideal for a pre-tour refueling. The hotel's own restaurant impresses with excellent cuisine and regional quality. A real treat after a long day in the saddle.
😊 Service & Hospitality: The friendliness of the staff is particularly noteworthy. Additional requests, such as an extra blanket, were met promptly and easily – you feel welcome and well looked after here.
🛏️ Rooms: The rooms are rather small and rustically furnished, but very clean and well-maintained. Those who appreciate cozy and authentic surroundings will feel at home. The wood paneling gives the hotel an alpine charm.
✅ Conclusion: A family-run hotel with an excellent location for active athletes and nature lovers. Friendly service, excellent food, and an atmosphere that invites you to return. A real insider tip for road cyclists.
16/09/2025: Very quiet, clean, comfortable. The food is of good quality and the breakfast offers a very varied buffet. Very well located for those who want to hike and especially go around Mount Thabor. Highly recommended!!!

17/04/2026: The staff is welcoming, accommodating, and always available.
The accommodation was perfect for us, as there were only two of us in a six-person apartment. It's true that our children, who were sharing with two other couples and two babies in the same apartment, were a little more cramped, especially the couple who slept in the small bedroom. But it was just for sleeping.
The location is beautiful. The only downside is that, outside of school holidays, the last shuttle bus leaves at 7:30 pm, which makes late-night outings with strollers difficult, as the hill is a bit steep.
The swimming pool is a great bonus for relaxing, and the halal food is a real treat.
We will be back.
04/04/2026: Excellent location beside a blue ski run and with an excellent bus service - very friendly and helpful maintenance staff but unfortunately we needed their help - the hot water tank leaked allover the apartment and the dripping and anxiety kept us awake on our last night. Minor but also a bit frustrating the bath plug was ill fitting and the bath would not hold water.. all in all the location was excellent - the accommodation was as advertised but we had unexpected maintenance issues

17/07/2026: We stayed as a family and were delighted with our experience. From the moment we arrived, we received a very warm welcome. The staff were kind and attentive throughout our stay.
There was a wide variety of activities for both children and adults.
A big thank you to the entire team.
We will gladly return and highly recommend this establishment.
28/06/2026: A very good week's holiday. Superb weather and a majestic view.
The team of professionals was very welcoming and attentive to guests. The restaurant offered good food, and the residence was quiet for the June holidays.
Just a small improvement needed: the pool terrace's emergency access door is damaged.
Covered parking would be a welcome addition, if possible. There's a lack of greenery on the balcony, as there's no privacy between the windows for the occupants, who came to look through our window while we were relaxing.
A privacy screen could be installed for deliveries near the kitchens.
I recommend this residence and its pleasant team.

31/03/2024: Excellent. Comme à chaque fois les plats sont très bien cuisiné. Les paupiettes pommes grenailles sont très bonnes. La sauce morilles une tueurie. Merci à eux d’avoir ouvert malgré les mauvaises conditions météo. Nous reviendrons sans problème. Le thymel est une valeur sûre.
09/03/2024: Au milieu des pistes, endroit super sympa au soleil.
Belle terrasse, service self pour la pause déjeuner avec du choix.
