Our taste buds were delighted by the quality ingredients and expertly prepared dishes. Our little family, on a two-day holiday, enjoyed it so much! 😋 😉 Thank you.
30/08/2026: Fantastic experience, we were recommended by a friend. The restaurant is beautiful. The setting is magnificent. The atmosphere is amazing. We had a truly delicious porcini mushroom fondue. We weren't disappointed. I recommend booking in advance, though, because even though it's a small establishment, many people know about it, so be sure to reserve before you arrive.

03/09/2026: Three of us came to this restaurant on Tuesday, September 1st, around 1 p.m. to eat a Savoyard fondue, and 24 hours later we all got sick with gastroenteritis!
I strongly advise against this restaurant, despite the fact that the fondue was very good.

The portions were generous, but the welcome was still lukewarm! (Perhaps due to overcrowding?) We'll be back…
18/08/2026: Excellent food. Fast service. Friendly staff. Friendly restaurant.
One small drawback: they don't accept holiday vouchers.
I highly recommend eating there at least once if you're ever in Valloire!

25/08/2026: We came without a reservation, and they still managed to find us a table, even though the restaurant was completely full just 30 minutes later.
We started with the charcuterie board for two, with a fantastic selection of cheeses and meats.
For mains, we had their Gnocchiflette, their take on tartiflette made with gnocchi instead of potatoes, and it was absolutely wonderful. We also had the pasta with truffle cream, which was unbelievably good. Both the pasta itself and the sauce were excellent.
Service was warm and friendly, the beer was cold and good, and the whole evening was a great experience.
Definitely recommended!
16/08/2026: We ordered pesto pasta, we had been wanting it for a long time…the dish itself was a huge disappointment. It consisted almost entirely of oil, it didn’t have much flavor, and the pasta wasn’t cooked to the perfect consistency for us, it was harder than it should have been. I personally didn’t like that the pine nuts were not ground into the sauce itself, so the taste of the whole dish was in each bite. They spared the basil…really unfortunately we got a pasta with more olive oil and a little cheese. We didn’t eat it.

The downside is the fact that the rooms are located above the goat stable… there is a pungent smell and there are a lot of flies outside. Therefore, quietly sitting on the terrace is not really possible.
The breakfast was decent and sufficient.

06/06/2026: I was very disappointed by the reception from the staff, who were extremely rude. The meal was bland and tasteless, apart from the canned vegetables. It's a shame, as the atmosphere is perhaps the only redeeming feature. I would only recommend it if you haven't eaten in three days.
02/04/2026: Great place for an evening with friends! We enjoyed a delicious fondue, cold beers, and a perfect tiramisu. The warm and stylish decor made the atmosphere even more pleasant.

12/07/2026: Last-minute stay, one phone call and it was all sorted. Booking made with complete confidence over the phone. Modern, quiet, comfortable, and very clean room. Excellent meals, enjoyed on-site, with attentive service.
We will definitely return; the conversation with Alexandre and his warm welcome made all the difference (that's my Norman side showing 😉).
29/06/2026: We spent one night at this hotel during our motorcycle road trip on the RGA. The location is pleasant and the rooms are adequate, but the restaurant was very disappointing. The salad advertised with homemade smoked duck breast and homemade foie gras arrived without duck breast (it was replaced with smoked ham) or foie gras, consisting mainly of salad and a few pieces of Beaufort cheese. The ham tasted questionable. The dessert selection was very limited and unappealing; we ultimately decided to go elsewhere for a decent dessert. The next day, my wife was ill (vomiting, stomach pains), which forced us to stop at a pharmacy, strongly suggesting a problem related to the meal. Not ideal for a motorcycle trip. We do not recommend the restaurant at this establishment.

🚴♂️ Location: Fantastically situated between the legendary Col du Galibier and the Col du Télégraphe – a perfect starting point for ambitious road cyclists and mountain lovers. Directly on the Route des Grandes Alpes, quiet and close to nature.
🍳 Breakfast & Restaurant: The breakfast is plentiful, fresh, and flavorful – ideal for a pre-tour refueling. The hotel's own restaurant impresses with excellent cuisine and regional quality. A real treat after a long day in the saddle.
😊 Service & Hospitality: The friendliness of the staff is particularly noteworthy. Additional requests, such as an extra blanket, were met promptly and easily – you feel welcome and well looked after here.
🛏️ Rooms: The rooms are rather small and rustically furnished, but very clean and well-maintained. Those who appreciate cozy and authentic surroundings will feel at home. The wood paneling gives the hotel an alpine charm.
✅ Conclusion: A family-run hotel with an excellent location for active athletes and nature lovers. Friendly service, excellent food, and an atmosphere that invites you to return. A real insider tip for road cyclists.
16/09/2025: Very quiet, clean, comfortable. The food is of good quality and the breakfast offers a very varied buffet. Very well located for those who want to hike and especially go around Mount Thabor. Highly recommended!!!
