Our taste buds were delighted by the quality ingredients and expertly prepared dishes. Our little family, on a two-day holiday, enjoyed it so much! 😋 😉 Thank you.
30/08/2026: Fantastic experience, we were recommended by a friend. The restaurant is beautiful. The setting is magnificent. The atmosphere is amazing. We had a truly delicious porcini mushroom fondue. We weren't disappointed. I recommend booking in advance, though, because even though it's a small establishment, many people know about it, so be sure to reserve before you arrive.

04/10/2026: A pleasant surprise! We ordered the daily specials, and the portions were very generous, the food was high quality, perfectly cooked, and reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly.
Really excellent!
20/09/2026: We came last night, in the middle of September, and it was one of the only restaurants open!
In addition to exceptional service—especially considering the number of tables and the crowd, since the waiter was alone—we had a truly lovely and very professional waiter.
And to top it all off, the food was delicious! A wonderful discovery that we highly recommend.

The food was good and the service efficient
25/08/2026: We came without a reservation, and they still managed to find us a table, even though the restaurant was completely full just 30 minutes later.
We started with the charcuterie board for two, with a fantastic selection of cheeses and meats.
For mains, we had their Gnocchiflette, their take on tartiflette made with gnocchi instead of potatoes, and it was absolutely wonderful. We also had the pasta with truffle cream, which was unbelievably good. Both the pasta itself and the sauce were excellent.
Service was warm and friendly, the beer was cold and good, and the whole evening was a great experience.
Definitely recommended!

The downside is the fact that the rooms are located above the goat stable… there is a pungent smell and there are a lot of flies outside. Therefore, quietly sitting on the terrace is not really possible.
The breakfast was decent and sufficient.

19/08/2026: A fantastic discovery in Valloire during our stay. We even went back a second time to show it to the family. Super friendly, welcoming, and always smiling. Simple but incredibly delicious cuisine featuring regional dishes that will delight your taste buds. A truly wonderful experience.

06/06/2026: I was very disappointed by the reception from the staff, who were extremely rude. The meal was bland and tasteless, apart from the canned vegetables. It's a shame, as the atmosphere is perhaps the only redeeming feature. I would only recommend it if you haven't eaten in three days.
02/04/2026: Great place for an evening with friends! We enjoyed a delicious fondue, cold beers, and a perfect tiramisu. The warm and stylish decor made the atmosphere even more pleasant.

We stayed at Le Relais du Galibier with our motorcycle group. The location is, of course, ideal for motorcyclists – right in the mountains and a perfect starting point for tours over the major Alpine passes.
The welcome was friendly and straightforward, and the accommodation was generally fine. The rooms are functional and perfectly adequate for an overnight stay on a motorcycle tour. The food was also decent and met our expectations.
One minor point of criticism is that the procedures could be a bit better organized for a larger motorcycle group. Overall, however, we felt comfortable and were able to sleep well after a long day of riding.
Conclusion: Solid accommodation in a fantastic location for motorcyclists. Not luxurious, but definitely recommended for a tour through the Alps.
Dislikes · Unfortunately, no dinner on-site – but the owner arranged dinner at a nearby pizzeria (about 1.5 kilometers away).
12/07/2026: Last-minute stay, one phone call and it was all sorted. Booking made with complete confidence over the phone. Modern, quiet, comfortable, and very clean room. Excellent meals, enjoyed on-site, with attentive service.
We will definitely return; the conversation with Alexandre and his warm welcome made all the difference (that's my Norman side showing 😉).

🚴♂️ Location: Fantastically situated between the legendary Col du Galibier and the Col du Télégraphe – a perfect starting point for ambitious road cyclists and mountain lovers. Directly on the Route des Grandes Alpes, quiet and close to nature.
🍳 Breakfast & Restaurant: The breakfast is plentiful, fresh, and flavorful – ideal for a pre-tour refueling. The hotel's own restaurant impresses with excellent cuisine and regional quality. A real treat after a long day in the saddle.
😊 Service & Hospitality: The friendliness of the staff is particularly noteworthy. Additional requests, such as an extra blanket, were met promptly and easily – you feel welcome and well looked after here.
🛏️ Rooms: The rooms are rather small and rustically furnished, but very clean and well-maintained. Those who appreciate cozy and authentic surroundings will feel at home. The wood paneling gives the hotel an alpine charm.
✅ Conclusion: A family-run hotel with an excellent location for active athletes and nature lovers. Friendly service, excellent food, and an atmosphere that invites you to return. A real insider tip for road cyclists.
16/09/2025: Very quiet, clean, comfortable. The food is of good quality and the breakfast offers a very varied buffet. Very well located for those who want to hike and especially go around Mount Thabor. Highly recommended!!!
