13/07/2026: A very warm welcome. A relaxing place facing the mountains, truly rejuvenating. Fresh, homemade cuisine that was absolutely delicious. Generous portions... In short, everything is there for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend it!
10/07/2026: Always an excellent address in a charming mountain setting, like an old chalet at the end of the world.
A warm welcome and the original menu from the previous owners, along with a few new additions.
Of course, we always appreciate the flambéed meat and the farçon (a type of savory tart), but also a selection of quality desserts (the chocolate merveilleux, for example, is excellent).
Back again in this lovely place.
Always a warm welcome and delicious summer specials on the terrace. The farçon is always a success.

04/07/2026: Perhaps it was the start of the season, BUT the welcome was soulless.
The Alpage salad, which I was really looking forward to, had a perfect egg that was anything but perfect, wilted lettuce, and bruised cherry tomatoes... In short, it didn't live up to the reputation I'd been led to believe. A huge disappointment.
28/06/2026: Everything was perfect, we had a wonderful evening. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was outstanding; the meat was tender, the mashed potatoes were first-class, highly recommended! 👍👌 That's how it should be, we'd love to come back.

The welcome was warm and the atmosphere very pleasant, ideal for sharing a good meal after a day in the mountains. We had a great time!

14/07/2026: Very welcoming and understanding, a quiet little spot which is very pleasant on vacation. Generous portions and good food. Very affordable price for a snack or afternoon tea break, it's perfect. You don't always need to spend a fortune to have a good time.
07/07/2026: After a long, winding ride on my motorcycle, I think it's the perfect place to stop for a good sandwich. Just forget about the prices of sandwiches we have in Italy. The staff is friendly and helpful.

🚴♂️ Location: Fantastically situated between the legendary Col du Galibier and the Col du Télégraphe – a perfect starting point for ambitious road cyclists and mountain lovers. Directly on the Route des Grandes Alpes, quiet and close to nature.
🍳 Breakfast & Restaurant: The breakfast is plentiful, fresh, and flavorful – ideal for a pre-tour refueling. The hotel's own restaurant impresses with excellent cuisine and regional quality. A real treat after a long day in the saddle.
😊 Service & Hospitality: The friendliness of the staff is particularly noteworthy. Additional requests, such as an extra blanket, were met promptly and easily – you feel welcome and well looked after here.
🛏️ Rooms: The rooms are rather small and rustically furnished, but very clean and well-maintained. Those who appreciate cozy and authentic surroundings will feel at home. The wood paneling gives the hotel an alpine charm.
✅ Conclusion: A family-run hotel with an excellent location for active athletes and nature lovers. Friendly service, excellent food, and an atmosphere that invites you to return. A real insider tip for road cyclists.
16/09/2025: Very quiet, clean, comfortable. The food is of good quality and the breakfast offers a very varied buffet. Very well located for those who want to hike and especially go around Mount Thabor. Highly recommended!!!

27/04/2026: It's a shame the hotel accepts reservations even when it's not open! What a surprise to be able to book, receive confirmation emails, and then arrive in the evening to find the hotel closed!
This is the kind of inconvenience I could have done without the day before the JB Cup when I was with my 7-year-old and all the other hotels were fully booked!
21/02/2026: We didn't stay there, we just dined at the restaurant. The staff weren't particularly friendly, except for one young woman. The coffee is much better at the Boulange bar-restaurant. As for the food, it was clearly very low quality, especially considering the high prices we were paying for a mountain experience. The vegetarian penne had no flavor whatsoever. The open-faced sandwich/salad starter was unappealing. The diot sausage was swimming in oil, served with fries that I suspect had been microwaved. They looked golden and crispy, but once you tasted them, they were completely unappetizing.
For this restaurant, I recommend going elsewhere.
