08/12/2025: This is my fourth visit to this restaurant and I'm never disappointed! Both the food and the warm welcome from the servers and the manager are consistently excellent! It's truly a wonderful place for a delicious meal, just the way we like them, and it deserves to be better known for its culinary talent and superb value for money! Eating such a good starter, main course, and dessert for €26, and of this quality, is hard to find! I recommend it 10,000% and I'll be back very soon! Elodie

- We knew this restaurant very well… before.
But last night, for my daughter's birthday, we had such a surprising culinary experience that we almost wondered if we were on a hidden camera show.
First, the service.
- The waiters seemed to be in "trial run" mode: not fully settled in, not quite operational.
- The aperitifs? They trickled in. They even managed the feat of serving everyone… except the birthday girl. Her glass waited patiently on the bar. What an atmosphere…
- The dishes.
The meat: cold.
The vegetables: decent but underwhelming.
And then my wife's dish… how to put it…
I'm used to eating spicy food. I'm even an easy customer in that regard. But this was a level of pepper that should be classified as a category B weapon.
I tasted his sauce: my taste buds were numb for 30 minutes!
Honestly surreal!!!
-As for the atmosphere:
It was cold in the dining room, and the noise level was like a school cafeteria.
Nothing like the team and quality we used to know. You wonder if there's an evil twin in place of the owner!
-In short:
Very long, very cold, very peppery, very disappointing.
I don't recommend it…

11/12/2025: As a delivery driver, I want to say that the servers are really very kind and welcoming, no complaints there. However, orders often take much longer than expected. I'm usually told to expect a 2 or 3 minute wait, but I regularly end up waiting 20 to 30 minutes longer.
I get the impression that the kitchen can't keep up, which creates significant delays. And in the end, it's the drivers who end up dealing with unhappy customers, who think we're the ones taking too long, when we're simply waiting for the order to be ready. I really hope the kitchen organization can be improved, because this puts us all in a difficult position.

Accueil chaleureux, personnel affable et prévenant, tout particulièrement Laurence dont l'accueil et l'efficacité est remarquable... Délicieux repas qui nous a fait voyager en Bretagne. Un grand Bravo, et merci à l'équipe de la créperie familiale L'HIRONDELLE.

01/08/2024: Une belle adresse, on y mange bien et le service y est sympa. Que ce soit sur la présentation, les produits utilisés ou même la présentation dans l’assiette il n’y a rien à redire.
Pour aller plus loin encore et mieux accompagner cette belle carte, une sélection de vins plus fournie et moins classique serait une piste.

26/08/2024: Recommended by the restaurant Le Mansart closed this Monday evening, reservation via The Fork for this brasserie facing the town hall of Fontainebleau. Friendly welcome and brasserie dish on the menu. The herring and potato starter was perfect and then foie de vaux impeccably cooked. I recommend this brewery. AMEX card accepted.

13/01/2025: The sauce for my gnocchi was very good but they were way overcooked! The huge downside of this restaurant is the noise!!! Far too many tables are set up in an insufficiently large space! It was terrible! Deafening noise! My friend and I couldn't wait to leave the place despite the cold outside!

07/01/2025: It's not my habit to comment with a negative opinion but this is unacceptable.
There are 3 of us at the table, we waited almost 30 minutes before being served.
- A blanquette with legs. Lukewarm and poorly cooked blanquette, very dry with an almost cold sauce and served with a plaster of unseasoned pasta. My grandmother's comment: "I feel like I'm eating in the canteen of my retirement home."
How can you serve this in good conscience for this price?
- Spaghetti with tomato sauce, garlic... We get tagliatelle instead, for no reason. The sauce is flavorless, having to add "a lot" of salt to give flavor. How can you fail such a simple dish?
- For my part, a pizza that I didn't finish while I was still hungry, that speaks for itself.
I don't comment negatively out of joy, but I had to. I have rarely eaten so badly with guests who have the same feeling.
I don't know where the problem comes from, a lack of motivation on your side or you don't check what comes out of the kitchen.

No, I didn't go to the wrong restaurant, even if you try to deflect my comment.
- Indeed, I was wrong, it's not a blanquette but the escalope. Based on the comments, this is not the first time that you have served it poorly cooked and cold.
- Oh well, no Spaghetti? It's in black and white on your menu. Spaghetti Alla Sorrentina. (Tomato, olive oil, garlic, buffalo mozzarella).
And these 2 dishes were inedible.

07/09/2024: Certainement la meilleure table de Fontainebleau. L’accueil est impeccable tout comme le service. Je vous conseille de manger dans la véranda, l’ambiance y est très agréable. A faire absolument.
05/08/2024: Restaurant avec un parking intérieur, c'est bien mais vite plein et se parquer dehors devient vite loin. Terrasse donnant sur un petit jardin privé calme. A ce niveau de prix, déjeuner sur un table genre ikea sans nappe n'est pas du niveau. La commande de 2 coupes de champagne arrive toute faite alors que dans un restaurant de ce niveau cela devrait être servi à table en marque de respect et, de plus, cela permet de voir la marque du champagne si on l'apprécie puisque la serveuse ne connait pas ce qu'elle sert quand on lui demande .... (26€) Le foie gras arrive pas froid et mousseux en une fine tranche non uniforme genre cramoisi ! . C'est pas bon et incompréhensible (une erreur ? un loupé ? une recette "branchée") QUID ?. Le ris de veau est bon et les légumes croquants et variés, c'est correct (ça peut pour 38€ le plat) le poisson et les langoustines avec les légumes sont corrects mais cela manque de gout (herbes subtiles ou assaisonement manquants ?) c'est sans immagination. le dessert maca long est très correct avec des fruits frais mais encore une fois, genre bien mais peut mieux faire et déja vu souvent.
Une bone carte des vins mais pas de 1/2 bouteilles en rouge et deux en blanc, pas du niveau auquel prétend ce restaurant.
Bref 204 € à deux avec 2 verres de rouge moyen et un 1/2 sancerre blanc, laisse un arrière gout de loupé et de peut mieux faire dans un service et cadre limite. dommage, il faudrait un vrai effort pour monter d'un cran.
