17/02/2026: We arrived at 8:45 PM, but were stopped at the door and refused entry, told the kitchens were closed… This is the second time; the first time was around 8:30 PM! What's the point of opening if you're turning away customers at these hours?!? This was our last attempt; we won't be back. 😕

09/02/2026: One of the best restaurants in Castres, always a pleasure to come here for lunch!

21/01/2026: Salad starter, choice of 5 pasta dishes and dessert for €19. Good food, good value.

13/01/2026: An amazing find, just away from the main square and so worth it. Very simple menu and food format. Salad starter, pasta dish and dessert all of which were incredibly tasty. Service was fantastic too! Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

24/11/2025: The waiter was very pleasant, smiling, and provided good information about the dishes. The beef burger was clearly high-quality meat. I thoroughly enjoyed the side salad and fries. The accompanying sauce was just okay, like an enhanced mayonnaise. Next time I come, because I liked the relaxed atmosphere, the dining room is spacious, there's plenty of room, and no one is crammed into your seat, I'll choose a salad; they looked very good.

10/11/2025: We arrived with a reservation, but the daily special was unavailable and not replaced. We were directed to the menu, only to find that the dishes we wanted were no longer available. Despite the waitress's friendliness, we decided to go elsewhere. We left the restaurant without a word from the manager; I even had to say goodbye three times before getting a response!

03/12/2025: Very warm welcome, and very good royal couscous, ordered and taken away within a very reasonable timeframe. I recommend it!!

23/10/2025: Excellent welcome despite a late arrival (almost 9 p.m. for a reservation between 8 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.). Excellent value for money. All 12 of us had a wonderful time. Thank you.

05/12/2024: We had lunch this afternoon for the first time in this restaurant. We really like this region and its terroir and we therefore had high expectations for this restaurant, given the reviews. My wife and I decided to opt for the “let yourself be guided” a 6-course menu at €65. We were just asked if there were things we didn't like, or allergies. I just told them that I was slightly lactose intolerant. So far so good... So we started the first course, then the second... And to make a long story short, we had the impression of eating the same thing for each course: a protein, pureed or fried vegetables, all bathed each time. in the same hyper-salty meat juice. When at the end of the third dish with this super salty juice I spoke to them about it, they told me that yes, the juice was indeed too salty... Then they brought us the last dish: duck breast. With what sauce will you tell me?? The same inedible juice. The 2 stars are there thanks to the dessert which made us finish the meal with something just ok. In short, the impression of having been fooled by a restaurant serving nothing exceptional, offering a menu "adapted to the customer's tastes", but not taking comments into account. At no point were we either surprised or happy to eat the next dish. 140€ for two, go your way you will find much better in the region at these prices.

19/10/2025: An excellent address where we ate in a group of about thirty people, the dishes were excellent, the service friendly, very good value for money. There are also pizzas. An excellent address for a meal without fuss.

27/01/2026: The food is very good quality and the portions are generous. A family-run and authentic restaurant, I highly recommend it.

16/11/2025: Place your orders well in advance; sometimes there's a bit of a wait, but it's totally worth it!!!

22/02/2026: Beware of lies at McDonald's Melou! Don't get ripped off like I almost did! They'll offer you the sugary drink surcharge at the drive-thru without telling you! Yes, it's "only" a few cents, but added up over an evening, it adds up to a nice little sum! And to top it off, they'll tell you it's mandatory and they can't remove it, when in reality, THAT'S FALSE! We can choose whether or not we want the drink with the surcharge, as evidenced in the image below. You need to review your training policy because clearly, your young employees aren't aware of this and aren't happy to be working there. Judging by the way they spoke to me, I don't think I'll be setting foot in that place again anytime soon! In conclusion, it's simply disguised theft!! Be vigilant, we already have way too many taxes!!
