If you love leaving a restaurant feeling happy, if you love sharing, if you love good food, if you love a great atmosphere, this is the place to go...with your eyes closed. 15/11/2025: Very good Asian restaurant offering a variety of typical dishes in a laid-back atmosphere. The restaurant is modern and the staff is friendly. The food is tasty, I strongly recommend trying their grilled duck and pork.

20/01/2026: It was a little chilly in the dining room, but the food was very good. The lemongrass tofu was excellent, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The same goes for the vegetable noodles.

04/02/2026: After driving 45 minutes to get to this restaurant recommended by a friend, imagine our surprise to find it closed! The opening hours indicated it was open, and no one was answering the phone. It's quite annoying and disrespectful to people who travel from afar like us.

10/11/2025: The neglected facade should have been a red flag... the shrimp and mango salad had no mango and the shrimp were questionable, the Thai beef salad had wilted lettuce... in short, we cancelled everything and left. A disgrace... I agree with the previous reviews, it doesn't even deserve one star... avoid this place.

07/03/2026: The food is more like frozen or reheated; it's a far cry from Thai cuisine. And I'm not even going to mention the cleanliness of the restaurant, especially the windows, which supposedly offer a lake view, but unfortunately, you have to look closely because between the dirt, the streaks, and the fly marks... Not to mention the rest, although the service was pleasant.

25/11/2025: The decor was a bit cold, the service a bit less so - but the food was truly excellent and generous! We'll definitely be back 😊

05/12/2025: The food and flavors are nowhere near the standard of Thai cuisine. The quality of the ingredients also leaves much to be desired: I couldn't even eat my dish; the sauce seemed to have gone bad, and the taste was truly awful (I don't even know how that's possible, even if I tried to do it on purpose), to the point that it left a bad taste in my mouth all day. I had my friends try it, and we all had the exact same experience... I even got a stomachache quite quickly. As for the service, the gentleman at the reception is lovely, but the woman in the dining room is unfriendly and unwelcoming. Given the numerous negative reviews, it's really necessary to take immediate action regarding hygiene, food quality, and service.

16/10/2025: The interior setting (old-fashioned glass roof, wrought iron chairs, and bright ambiance) is very pretty. The terrace must also be very pleasant in summer. On the other hand, the value for money is very poor. The portions are ridiculously small for the price. The food, aside from being spicy, lacks any of the subtle flavors of Thai cuisine; you have to wonder if the sauce isn't a diluted industrial powder. The wine list is very expensive.

07/09/2025: Big disappointment. We drove 25mins to this restaurant which we thought would be magical. As thai food lovers we had high expectations. The location is beautiful and the place has so much potential. But the experience was just disappointing. The food portions are ridiculously small, with a minimum of garnish or vegetables and it just was not good at all, we have never had such bland thai food. Beside this the owner and the lady with big black glasses were not friendly or welcoming, and very stressed that we arrived with three- albeit well behaving- children for dinner; we had reserved beforehand. I rarely write negative reviews but I cannot say anything encouraging and cannot recommend this place. The two young waiters were friendly though.

25/11/2025: I can confirm that children often speak the truth: "Mom, there aren't enough stars to rate this restaurant!" It's true. I've been a regular at this restaurant for several years now, and I'm still absolutely delighted. It's become a ritual to come and spend quality time there with my children. The staff always welcome us with a warm smile, prepare our table with special care to suit our preferences, create fresh and delicious dishes, then help the children serve themselves at the buffet and laugh with them. Thank you to the staff of this restaurant for being so generous and attentive. A little bit of sweetness in this dreary world. I highly recommend a wonderful experience at Asian World in Lisieux, and bon appétit! 🙏🏼

11/11/2025: The waitress was haughty and treated us like idiots with her "actually..." The meal was a bit bland, but to each their own... the owners were pleasant.

19/02/2026: Excellent food, lots of choices, and fast, efficient service! Please note that online reservations are not currently working (as of February 2026), so it's best to call if you wish to make a reservation.

17/02/2026: Absolutely terrible, both in taste and service. It took them 10 years to serve us. No chips for us, but plenty for other customers. Sticky rice that wasn't sticky at all, and rather dry, and it cost €2! The only time they smiled at me was when I took out my card at the till.

03/02/2026: I had a very disappointing experience. The room was very small, poorly maintained, and had an unpleasant odor. The furniture was old, and the overall cleanliness was unacceptable. Cleaning services were not included in the price. The bathroom was extremely dirty, there were small ants throughout the room, and the refrigerator emitted a strong, unpleasant smell. Overall, the conditions were unhygienic, and I do not recommend this accommodation.
