12/05/2026: As always, the food was delicious, but the waitress (the young one) was very unpleasant to my colleagues yesterday. I was eager to introduce them to the restaurant, and they vowed never to go back because of her. It's a shame how employees can cause the owner to lose customers.

11/06/2026: The atmosphere was pleasant after the renovations, but unfortunately, the food didn't live up to expectations. The menu was very limited, the risotto was inedible due to overcooked rice, and the portions were so small that you left hungry. Furthermore, any criticism seemed poorly received, whereas customer feedback should be seen as an opportunity for improvement. A disappointing experience despite the attractive setting.

29/04/2026: Worst experience of all my culinary experiments!! I took my colleagues there at lunchtime… we each ordered a dish, one of us asked for a vegetable tagine, and they presented it as the vegetable broth from the couscous, as if it were an all-in-one meal!!! Can broth really pass for a tagine??? The grilled sardines appetizer were just a can of sardines with loads of harissa?!!! My chicken and lemon tagine had spoiled meat…. The mint tea was a disaster, the mint tea? Catastrophic, don't go unless you want to throw your money away and end up with indigestion… we spent the afternoon nursing a hangover!!

30/06/2026: I've been coming to El Gringo since the early 2000s and it's always a pleasure to return. The burritos (with chicken), the quesadillas (also with chicken), the fajitas… everything is delicious, the margaritas are excellent, and the atmosphere is always great. Special mention to the staff, who give a warm and friendly welcome every time I visit. After all these years, the quality is still there. A sure bet that I recommend without hesitation!

10/07/2026: I wasn't wrong about the true decline of Sushi Shop Vincennes. They send you meal basket offers just when they're sold out. You can't even place an order anymore. I don't even bother with the waiting time because the ordered tray is nonexistent. Ah, Andri is gone, and everything's gone downhill. He used to have a remarkable understanding of customer service and how to build customer loyalty. Now we're greeted by a young woman who has no idea about any of that. She no longer prepares anything for the apps that prevent food waste. I completely understand the need to avoid mistakes and dangers in the cold chain, but still, to this extent, it's disastrously irresponsible. The customer service has also deteriorated significantly. Andri used to act like a true professional, preparing at least five packages in advance.

04/07/2026: Very disappointed with my last order! Sea bream sushi (just rice and sea bream) without the usual ingredients (€5.50 for 2)... Tuna tataki replaced with salmon tataki (which we don't like at all).

09/04/2026: Excellent value for money. Simple, well-prepared food. Very pleasant atmosphere; I come here for lunch with friends about once a quarter. It's always a relaxing time. When the weather is nice, tables are set up outside. 👍

24/04/2026: An excellent Portuguese restaurant in the heart of Vincennes. We chose the octopus with new potatoes and grilled peppers: a real treat, everything was perfectly cooked. Despite a slight delay due to a kitchen error (the chef had misplaced the order slip), the experience remained very positive. The chef personally came to apologize, a gesture rare enough to be worth mentioning. The management also took the time to apologize. As they say, to err is human, but knowing how to admit it makes all the difference, and here, it was done with professionalism. I highly recommend it.

19/06/2026: I've been a regular for a long time, and the price-quality ratio suits me. However, the atmosphere in the restaurant is bad because of the delivery drivers who loiter inside and play videos on their phones through the speakerphone. As a result, we always get takeout, even though the interior is cute and the staff are very friendly. In fact, I think this is a common opinion because the dining room is always empty. It's a bit of a shame.
