10/11/2025: We went as a family to celebrate my brother's birthday. Aside from the stunning location in the pine forest with its sea view, the service was appalling and the food simplistic. We waited over an hour to be greeted by the sommelier, who offered wines but didn't offer us any aperitifs or even a menu. The waiters were incredibly unfriendly and took forever to come and see us, while the table next door (clearly hotel guests) was treated like royalty. We really felt like we were bothering them and being looked down upon. I recommend going for the view, even just for a stroll, but the restaurant itself is best avoided!

26/10/2025: Authentic Provencal mas. Excellent staff at reception, pool and at dinner. Quality and choices at breakfast buffet can't be topped. Refined dinners. Room was a bit tight for two but didn't matter because we were out hiking and swimming all day, and the bathroom and shower were renovated and spacious. We loved our experience at the Mas and on the island.

26/07/2024: Why is it closed??? This restaurant was so good!! The ice cream was divine, with new, original, and absolutely delicious flavors!!!! There's nothing left in its place except an unappealing "Coffee shop"...

18/10/2025: Our first time at this restaurant. We were two adults and a 28-month-old baby who was very hungry. We waited for 10 minutes, and the staff walked right past us without noticing us. A waitress finally came to see us and told us to come back in 15 to 20 minutes. We waited out front on the small pier. So we came back 24 minutes later. We waited again, only to be informed that there were no more seats. Is this type of situation really unprofessional? They should have told us to make a reservation instead of being thrown out. Okay, at 1:05 p.m. in the middle of a rush. But for a restaurant to disrespect customers shows a lack of competence, which should be the complete opposite. I will NEVER go back.

22/09/2024: Hartelijk ontvangen op een regenachtige avond. We konden dus niet genieten van het strand. Vlotte en vriendelijke bediening. Tartaar van tonijn was een mooie portie en een pure frisse bereiding. Hoofdgerecht kabeljauw met Provençaalse aardappelpuree. Correct en lekker. Als dessert namen we tiramisu, aan tafel afgewerkt. De Boudoir koekjes worden aan tafel overgoten met koffie en vervolgens bedekt met opgeklopte mascarpone en cacaopoeder. Lekker! Kortom fijne ervaring met correcte verhouding tussen prijs en kwaliteit. Pluspunt was de aandacht voor de vooraf doorgegeven allergie, erg attent! Enig minpunt was de overvollle parking door een feest in de nabij gelegen strandbar/club, al kan Le Marais daar niets aan doen.

15/09/2024: Restaurateur de métier , je n aime pas écrire quoique se soit mais là…nous avions réservé à l extérieur on se retrouve à l intérieur. La seule personne qui travaille et ne pense pas à s amuser est la barmaid. Le reste du personnel c est la cour de récréation. Le « chef de rang » a l intérieur il faut lui demander de l eau au moins 5 ou 6 fois . Ne vient jamais à la table voir si ça va . On lui laisse 30€ de tips même si l on est pas satisfait même pas un merci . Les gens quand ils viennent au restaurant c est pour passer du bon temps . Avec un personnel comme ça , on se languis de finir nos plats et partir .

29/08/2024: Menu à 25 euros entrée et plat un régal De très belles tranches de saumon on était calés après l’entrée !!! Une adresse à connaître. Personnel au top dans un très beau cadre !

03/09/2024: WHAT A DESAPPOINTMENT !!! We have been coming to Chamo for years and tonight was the last time... The ice cream cups are no longer spectacular 3 scoops in a small cup of whipped cream a semblance of coulis a Russian cigarette... that's fine the margin must be very good sir!!!! Staff who are not at all organized and who are therefore overwhelmed And for some not very pleasant!! Customers are obliged to clear the tables themselves during installation and if we ask for it to be cleaned it is done with annoyance and with a rag that the waiter takes out of his pocket and which therefore has to clean all the other tables before yours without seeing a bucket of disinfectant! For the ice creams it's a bit haphazard because the waiter doesn't know what he's serving you and says so. Besides, my husband always looks for the pistachio and flaked almonds in his…apparently the PINCH of chopped hazelnuts must be cheaper!! Really as much in other years I took photos and was delighted to be at the chamo leaving a good comment as much this year NO. And above all, keep your credit card in hand as soon as you have finished the young lady will come and collect it, meaning LEAVE NOW! No more wondering why your competitors' queues are getting longer!! WHAT A PITY !!!

29/09/2024: Fin septembre sans réservation un soir nous sommes allés par hasard dans ce restaurant. Accueil très agréable, la lotte est excellente,le vin blanc de l'île aussi, les desserts également. Tout cela pour un prix honnête pour Porquerolles.

26/08/2024: 1/Je réserve plusieurs jours à l'avance en demandant une table près de la mer, on arrive à 19h30, la terrasse est quasi vide, on se retrouve à la table la plus au fond du resto, dans un angle. Je le fais remarquer, rien n'y fait, on ne me change pas de table. 2/On perd une carte d'identité et une CB, on la cherche pendant une heure alors que les salariés du resto l'avait retrouvée, mais n'ont pas pris la peine de regarder le tableau des réservations, c'était le même nom. C'est quand on leur a demandé s'il n'avait pas trouvé une carte d'identité et une CB qu'ils nous les ont rendues 3/ Ondemande 6 fois pour avoir de l'eau mais à ce stade ça devient anecdotique 4/ On commande leur plat signature qui est un risotto pour 2 préparé dans la meule de parseman et flambé devant nous: on nous amène deux assiettes déjà préparées en nous disant que la préparation a été faite a une autre table plus loin... 5/ Au-delà de ce service déplorable, les plats sont bien trop chers. On ne paye que le décor. A éviter. Il y a bien mieux autour, à l'Aygade, la Plage ou la Capte.

23/08/2024: Deux passages dans cet établissement, un dîner et un déjeuner. Accueil courtois et personnel très aimable. Cadre splendide et repas excellent. Je recommande

17/08/2024: Décor et ambiance agréable...plats classiques et corrects mais sans le waouh!!. Service attentionné..... Au final, bonne adresse mais manque un peu de fantaisie.....

17/08/2024: Je n'ai pas retrouvé la gardiane d'antan dans cet établissements , ( sauce et viande pas assez corsées, olives ) et ce qui est dommage pas assez chaud , la soupe de poisson était également plus généreuse et chaude. Sinon la présentation est correcte et la déco soignée.

19/02/2026: Perfect establishment; we stayed as a family and everything was there for us and our children. Delicious breakfast with a very wide selection. Friendly staff.

15/02/2026: A lovely romantic weekend getaway for Valentine's Day! A wonderful discovery, a fantastic welcome, a truly comprehensive breakfast buffet, and a really nice setting. A cozy fireplace with a wood fire was so welcome on a rainy day. Unlimited hot drinks in the lounge. A little bag of chocolate hearts—the attention to detail was even evident in the heart-shaped toilet paper. Just two things to improve: the ventilation was noisy and the bathtub wasn't great! We'll be back for a longer weekend when the weather is nicer.
