09/09/2026: From both a commercial and sporting perspective, it's a disaster. After several visits to this golf course, the conclusion is unfortunately always the same: an unpleasant welcome, unprofessional staff, and an unclear business policy, with the feeling that everything is just an excuse to charge more. To date, it's the worst golf course I've ever played, both in terms of the game itself and the value for money, as well as the management and human aspects. It all starts at reception, where the quality of service is clearly not up to the prices charged. €95 for a green fee for a flat, poorly maintained course, with no real scenery or viewpoints and offering little sporting challenge. This price is in the very high range of golf courses I've played in France and abroad, for a service that falls far short. Even before starting, a first surprise: the putting green is not free. It's the first time I've ever seen that at a golf course. And if you haven't already figured it out, a security guard will make sure to remind you from his golf cart, publicly and indiscriminately, even going so far as to escort you to reception to ensure your "debt" is settled, as if you'd been caught red-handed. He might also question your attire, deeming it incompatible with management standards. This approach is a far cry from the hospitality, respect, and discretion one expects at a golf course. Next up is the driving range. Here again, the value for money is hard to justify: expensive balls of mediocre quality or poor condition, sold by the bucket minimum, with no option to buy just one, except for those under 25. The facilities are also far from commensurate with the prices charged. Then comes the 18-hole course. Tees, fairways, and greens are in a deplorable state, with clearly insufficient maintenance. The course is flat, lacking variety, and offers few truly interesting situations. All this for a green fee that has jumped from €80 two years ago to €95 today. And it's worth remembering that two years ago, €80 was already a particularly high price considering the expected standards for this course and the prices charged at other golf courses in the region. At €95 today, the gap between the price and the quality offered becomes unjustifiable. This gives the experience an almost philosophical dimension: how far can you go before you regret coming? And if you're "lucky" enough to play on a day when the greens are aerated, without having been informed beforehand, you'll be treated to a rather unusual putting experience. When you then ask for a discount, after having paid full price, the reception is no better. That day, the two players who were with me received a discount, while I personally did not. One can therefore legitimately question the criteria for awarding these goodwill gestures, which seem to be left to the discretion of management and, clearly, to the whims of the customer. Management's intervention following this simple request for a goodwill gesture only worsened an already very disappointing situation. After several experiences of this kind, my advice is simple: avoid this golf course. At this price point, there are establishments in the region offering a much better quality of course, service, and welcome. You'll save time, money, and probably your good mood. As for the restaurant, it unfortunately follows the same pattern. In short: if you're looking for a well-maintained golf course, a consistent price-to-quality ratio, transparent pricing, and professional service, look elsewhere. Here, prices are increasing, but the quality of the experience clearly isn't keeping pace. And as for unpleasant surprises, they're always there—at no extra cost!

08/09/2026: I tried the apple turnover and apple tart, and they were really not good... Okay, it's gluten-free, probably organic, with carefully selected ingredients... but the pastry of the turnover is really bad. It's neither flaky nor delicious, and the pastry is a bit sticky. This is a bit of a problem with concepts that stray from traditional bakeries.
