08/03/2024: Restaurant with very warm charm and decoration. What a disappointment in the service, more particularly that of the owner (I suppose) and the wait to be served. 5 of us arrived around 12:30 p.m., quickly took an order for a drink and a dish per person, we were not served until 1:40 p.m. When we went to pay, still a long wait. Anyway, after a coffee we finally left the table at 2:30 p.m. So 2 hours for a meal and a coffee. I would like to point out that the food there was very good. Finally, always the same manager who was annoyed that we wanted to pay separately, and who made it clear to us. According to the waitress, they were surprised by the service with one less person in the kitchen.

30/03/2024: Always a treat. We usually take away, but this evening we ate there. The pizzas are very good, the homemade desserts are delicious. My husband had the cake of the day made with sponge cake, ricotta, limoncello and strawberries and he still can't get over it. He never stops remembering it! The welcome and atmosphere are warm and sincere. An authentic Italian welcome! I recommend!

10/03/2024: There are places where a temporal parenthesis opens... this was the case last night at the Lido in Toulon. Arrived around 7:30 p.m., a little early than my reservation time (8:00 p.m.). The restaurant was empty and found myself with the great team of waiters (se/Assa) getting ready for service. I was going to come out for a few minutes to give them time to get back to their evening, but they insisted that I take a seat next to them and we got to know each other. Truly passionate about their work, with kindness and benevolence under all circumstances. Thanks to Assa, Franck and the others for this welcome and for the rest of the evening which was exceptional. The dishes are fine, very well presented and of great flavor. I was accompanied by a friend and throughout the meal there was never a lack of attention. I go out a lot, I often go to restaurants but it is exceptional to have been welcomed this way!!! I will return there, recommend it and again THANK YOU to the entire Lido de Toulon team for this temporary break which is so rare these days. Lawrence.

05/04/2024: We must always encourage a job well done and the customer welcomed and served with a smile! This is the basis ! L'Ostrea La Criée can only be recommended and highly recommended: numerous seafood platters, for all tastes and budgets, an "all you can eat" service that I was not able to try, from wine to glass, very fresh and finely processed products. And good value for money. This is a change from all the "restaurants" on the Toulon harbor front, many of which are tourist traps. You can't come here by chance. I will come back again and again!
