And a special mention for an absolutely delicious vegan dessert that perfectly rounds off the meal. I highly recommend it!

21/07/2026: I ordered a dish with salmon, zucchini, and mashed potatoes (which were actually store-bought). I have nothing against store-bought mashed potatoes, except when they have an aftertaste like my dish did. Frankly, considering the price, I find it outrageous, even appalling.

02/08/2026: The owner is simply amazing; he's very zen, very open, very easygoing, and he knows his menu and products inside and out. The shop has a spiritual, retreat vibe, a bit Indonesian/Indian. Honestly, you can tell the dishes are made with love, and the cuisine is undeniably authentic—the cooks are Indian! Plus, nutritionally, it seems very balanced and varied. There are many different ingredients in the dishes on the menu, and they also have daily/weekly specials. Unfortunately, it's a bit pricey for the portion sizes, but it's still delicious. Expect to pay €12 for a full meal. The place is a bit cramped, but there are still a few seats available for dining in.

27/08/2026: I happened to stop by for lunch today and absolutely loved the quality of the meal and the ingredients used. It was simply delicious. The homemade desserts were exquisite. The owners were incredibly friendly. I'll definitely be back soon!

03/08/2026: Hello, We went there for the first time this Saturday, August 1st, 2026, as a couple, and shared an excellent meal with delicious, high-quality ingredients in a very pleasant atmosphere with impeccable service! We will be back!

28/07/2026: The prices were too high considering the quality of the food. I had the pasta with pepper sauce, and it was good, but €22 for pasta or salad seems quite expensive… And all the desserts were over €10 😬 even the mousse, which is a very basic dessert. In short, I enjoyed it, but I won't be going back, given the price difference…

05/09/2026: A tiny place that serves Lebanese food. We got our sandwiches to go and enjoyed the nearby Canal Saint-Martin. The sandwiches were good, but nothing special. I also tried the meat and cheese sambousik; they were also good, but I've had better. The price was €42 for two sandwiches, a side salad, a side of stuffed grape leaves, two small bottles of water, and an ayran. Not exactly cheap. It's not bad, but the offer could be improved.

30/08/2026: It's a shame, the decor is a bit impersonal; we would have preferred a more typical Lebanese setting, as well as more music... What particularly bothered us was the pressure we felt to order before 10 pm. The waitress came back three times while we were having our aperitifs, and then the main course arrived before we had finished our appetizers because the kitchen was closing. We were then asked to leave when the restaurant closed, which wasn't pleasant. Not recommended for late or extended dinners; the service is "French style," unfortunately not "Lebanese style"... it spoiled the experience. Furthermore, the chicken was overcooked and dry. We won't be returning.

26/08/2026: They're top-notch! The quality of the hummus and tabbouleh is on par with the best restaurants I've visited in Lebanon. A highly recommended restaurant, then. Minor criticisms: we ordered, among other things, the chef's platter (€26.50). The mezze were delicious, but I found the amount of meat for the shish taouk a bit skimpy. They could make a little more of an effort :-). Also, the restaurant (it was a Monday evening) is a bit noisy, and the carpets, very worn, could use replacing. In short, the food at Le Cèdre is superb. Kudos to their flans too.

24/08/2026: This place is truly disgusting. The food, while worthy of a Doberman, is awful. And to top it off, they don't even tell you if a dish is sold out; instead, they bring you a substitute of their choosing without informing you beforehand. I can't judge the service impartially since it was nonexistent. The prices? Outrageous. Shameful. Avoid at all costs.

10/08/2026: A very good vegetarian restaurant, and not very expensive, especially for a historic center. A very warm welcome and quite a few regulars, which is often a good sign.
