02/04/2026: We went there for lunch, the three of us. We're French students in Aix-en-Provence and we're from Spain. The woman who greeted us was absolutely lovely. She was very attentive, taking into account the wind so we could be comfortably seated, and she was also very patient with us since we don't speak French very well yet. The food was excellent. I had a pear hot dog, which was absolutely delicious, and some fries to share. I highly recommend this place if you're in Aix-en-Provence.

25/03/2026: We've loved everything. Staying from the ability to take our small Dachshound with us, the fast and polite service, the excellent and authentic food. Thank you, for a nice evening, we will be back :)

24/03/2026: 17 /02 We ordered online by clicking on the link they have on Google Maps of their other shop. After paying we noticed the address to pick up the food was different from the place on the map. Apparently they have the factory place and a restaurant at the other side of town. We called them immediately to explain, no problem the order could be cancelled and they would refund our CC. We walked to the Factory and ordered the same as we did online and paid yet again. Mentioning the probleem to the person there. She called the other restaurant to help them remember to refund the order. We also emailed, called, whatsapp them, they keep on telling us they’ll issue the refund, but didn’t receive the refund... Today 24/03 still no refund. It’s a bit extreme. But we hope the review will help them remember…

16/03/2026: We tried to use the restrooms. Even after paying, this was refused. The employee then asked us to leave.

My husband, who isn't vegetarian/vegan, enjoyed the Italian salad—he loved it, especially since he doesn't usually like this type of restaurant. As for me, I had the fried seitan with linguine and pesto—very good, not too salty, which is a good thing; you can just add more salt if you like it spicier!

03/03/2026: I just tried this "fast good" place… not so much. The fries are frozen; you get better ones at McDonald's. The burger was nothing special. We ordered two burgers cooked differently, and there was a mistake: the medium-rare ended up more than medium, and the medium was almost medium. The chocolate dessert was runny, so it wasn't really a cream, even though it tasted good. €41 for two burgers and two desserts is a bit pricey for the quality. The atmosphere is nothing special, with low ceilings. The terrace is nice, but it's not sunny at lunchtime. In the end, I'm not sure what's homemade or good about it.

01/03/2026: We came as a family and loved the lentil and chicken dish, the tartiflette, and the Caesar salad! We were won over by this combination of tasty regional cuisine and fast-food service. We also appreciated the wide selection of unlimited soft drinks. It was too cold for the terrace, so we preferred the quiet of the dining room at the end of lunch service.

24/03/2026: An evening at the Chalet is always eagerly anticipated and appreciated: everything is simply delicious. Unpretentious, yet flavorful. The ingredients are fresh and homemade, and the service is very friendly without being intrusive. As for the setting: the interior, with its fireplace, is just as delightful as the exterior, with its view of the castle near the lake.
