08/12/2025: We followed Google's recommendations. And we're so glad we did!
Excellent little restaurant, perfectly prepared dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I highly recommend it! 💯

Phou Khet
Bel-Air, Paris
11/12/2025: We were made to feel very welcome by the staff. We had the Boeuf Loc Lac and the Poulet Bo Bun and it was very good! Plenty of local Parisiens dining here which is always a good sign. Would recommend 100%.
10/12/2025: A nice flashback to Thailand this afternoon 👌🏽

Chez Chung
Ternes, Paris
05/12/2025: We ate here last night while staying at the Hyatt Regency Etoile in Paris. The food was so good! We had egg rolls, fried shrimp and dumplings for appetizers and then shared a bowl of the duck soup (so good and on a cold night it sure hit the spot!) Topped it off with green teas ice cream. I would definitely recommend for a very reasonably priced and tasty meal!
24/11/2025: Homey place with fresh food. You can’t go wrong. Everything is good!!

Mei Xi
Quinze-Vingts, Paris
30/10/2025: Excellent canteen, lovely manager. We ate plenty of the various dishes that were left over at the end of the afternoon, all for a very reasonable price and in a pleasant atmosphere.
We will gladly return.
30/10/2025: An exceptional welcome, superb service from the owner, and sublime quality of food. If I'm ever in Paris, near the Gare de Lyon, I wouldn't hesitate to return to Mei Xi.
All this at an affordable price.
(I can't even suck in my stomach!)

Pause Bobun
Jardin-Des-Plantes, Paris
25/09/2024: It is always a great pleasure to taste the dishes. What a shame he only does imported dishes.
25/09/2024: Delicious bobun and super fast service, for people who take the train they even do an express, recommended! (it’s not more expensive than a McDonald’s and it’s better for your health)

I Love Bo-Bun
Muette, Paris
06/12/2024: Very nice staff! Delicious food.
Bo buns are amazing plain or stir-fried! Very fresh spring rolls.
22/11/2024: I went because I was craving hot soup, and it was delicious. I ate something like Jjajo, tofu rice noodles, and beef rice noodles. I felt it was cost-effective for the price in Paris, and the owner was really, really friendly!! The rice noodle soup is really thick!

Thuy Long
Notre-Dame-Des-Champs, Paris
10/12/2025: A small restaurant, fresh and homemade cuisine. The best pho in Paris.
08/12/2025: We came for lunch as a group of three and received a particularly poor welcome. Unfamiliar with the restaurant's usual practices, we asked if we could be seated, given that there were three tables for two available, two of which were side-by-side. However, we were met with a flat refusal: "There's no room. Thank you. Goodbye."
I can understand the stress of managing the kitchen, the reception, and seating arrangements, but that's no excuse for such a curt response. Were we there on the wrong day?
EDIT: The vehement tone of the reply accurately reflects our initial interaction. As for the bad faith, I'll overlook that... For your information, I frequent many Asian restaurants regularly (Chao Em since it opened, La Mousson for over 20 years, Shin Ye for a few years, etc.). Finally, regarding the sexist prejudices 🫤

Dong Nai
Charonne, Paris
09/07/2025: Might be my new favorite pho in Paris, the broth is amazing, the beef was so tender and the owner is very nice and passionate
04/07/2025: A true neighborhood canteen! We've been walking past it for several months but only recently decided to come to Dong Nai and don't regret it at all.
How does it differ from the Vietnamese restaurants in the 13th or Belle Ville districts? A reasonably sized restaurant, with an unpretentious but varied menu, tasty food that seems homemade and, above all, not too salty! We tried the spring rolls, banh cuon, pho, and mi.
We'll be back to try the other dishes!

Do et Riz
Quinze-Vingts, Paris
21/08/2024: This restaurant is the best Vietnamese restaurant I found in Ile-de-France so far. What’s really special about this place is that they use fresh ingredients and everything is freshly homemade. The food here is truly excellent even by Californian standards. I went back to this restaurant many times, and among all the dishes I’ve tried, my favorite ones are:
Appetizer-steamed Vietnamese rice ravioli (this is a standard dish that you can find at many Vietnamese restaurants but this restaurant does it the best!); mango salad with squid (this dish is so incredibly fresh and refreshing, with peanuts and fresh mint sprinkled on top)
Plat-monk fish with passion fruit-peanut sauce (I have never had any dish that mixes passion fruit with peanut sauce, and the combination is simply magical!); margaret du Canard; coconut curry with aubergine, shrimp and rice noodles (this one goes very well with rice but you can also eat it by itself); I also especially love their Bo Bun beef, which in my opinion is the best Bo Bun in Ile de France because their beef tastes very fresh and only lightly marinated (unlike at most other Vietnamese restaurants where the beef is heavily marinated and doesn’t taste fresh at all), and not salty at all.
Dessert—everyone loves their “Coco au lait avec Tapioca, mangoes et bananas”; I also love their passion fruit mousse (it’s amazing!); their banana cake is also the best banana cake I’ve ever had at any Asian restaurant (including the Vietnamese/Thai restaurants in the U.S.)
They have both indoor and outdoor seating; very nice clean bathroom; they have English menus upon request. At lunch time they have a “lunch formula” of very good value; depending on what you get this can range in price from 14 euros to 22 euros (3 course meal). During lunch time they can be super crowded and you might have to wait for a table. Lots of locals come eat here or order takeout.
All in all, this is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Ile de France. If you’re used to good Asian food in the U.S., you’ll love this place.
