26/01/2026: The service was impeccable and the food delicious... but a CATASTROPHIC romantic evening... the waiters suffered just like us, and we're well aware that our bill for two was €114 versus a table that would certainly have cost €1000, so we understand that they had to be given priority... But the shouting, the smoking room open directly onto us, the constant coming and going, the children "visiting" the kitchen with a "parent" during service, the toilets being used as a shower room, the cell phones blaring and video calls (so we can reassure you, their whole family is fine, even if they have a bit of a sore throat, but hey, he'll make the effort to have a digestif)... it was all too much. So yes, we "had bad luck," but we left without having eaten our fill and having had a terrible time... that's not what we like to leave a restaurant. We usually thank and compliment the staff and cooks, but this time the only words we could manage to say to the employees and customers who had the same experience as us (two couples and a table of five) were, "Good luck, ladies and gentlemen." 03/12/2025: We received a very warm welcome; the owner is incredibly friendly and energetic, and kept us entertained while we waited. The food was delicious, and the chef even came to chat with us. A lovely, family-run place.

20/01/2026: Always so good and enjoyable. What a treat! The amazing scallop platter with its four hot and cold variations, followed by a crème brûlée—absolutely divine—all served with exceptional kindness. I highly recommend it for the quality of the ingredients and the service.

28/11/2025: The owner gave us a very warm welcome. The daily special was decent, however, we were very disappointed with our dessert choices: a homemade vanilla/caramel Italian ice cream that was completely tasteless, and a "gourmet coffee" that was rather bland... What a shame!

05/12/2025: The service was far too fast! We'd barely sat down when they asked us for a drink, and before we'd even touched it, the hot dish was served... and surprise... there was a sticker on my lasagna dated 30/11/2025... I ate there on 05/12/2025... I dared to mention it to the owner (I don't go to a restaurant to eat lasagna that's a week old), and she practically scolded me for not mentioning it sooner... without a single gesture, not even a free drink or coffee... and worse... without an apology!! I won't be going back anytime soon!!

04/12/2025: I highly recommend this restaurant; I discovered it by chance on Tuesday at lunchtime. One of my friends ordered a burger and fries, and it was just okay (especially the fries, which weren't great). But on the other hand, I absolutely loved my four-cheese pizza—it was delicious. My other friend ordered the salmon pizza, which was also excellent. I then went to see the pizza chef, Billy. A big thank you to him for the four-cheese and salmon pizzas made with fresh salmon. Billy was so friendly! I would suggest that the hot sauce be a little spicier, please (while still keeping it homemade). Hooray for Billy's pizzas and his smile! And please, the fries need to be changed.

19/06/2025: I came this Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. to discover Doc's cuisine. Excellent dishes that fit the body of an honest man, and friendly and impeccable service! The duck breast is tasty and melts in the mouth; the Sarladaise potatoes are to die for! In short, an address not to be missed!

13/02/2026: One of two Chinese restaurants in Épinal. Relatively high prices. Cuisine is more Southeast Asian than Chinese. The welcome was friendly but unorganized. I went there at noon on Friday and there were about seven tables of customers in total, divided between two waitresses. No one noticed me when I entered, and it was up to me to call out to a waitress and ask for a table. Once seated, I was left for about five minutes before being given a standard menu, the prices of which are even higher than in the Paris region. That is to say, by Épinal standards, it's really, really expensive. I asked for the daily special, and another five minutes passed before I got the correct menu. I ordered a three-course lunch deal for €18. The starter and dessert were good. For my starter, the noodles with chicken, the soup was umami, and the chicken was tender. For my dessert, the coconut pearls, the sticky rice was well-cooked, and the coconut shavings were quite authentic. On the other hand, my main course, the chicken curry, was a bit disappointing. The vegetables were fresh and the chicken was always tender, but the curry was very diluted and almost tasteless. The Cantonese rice was already lukewarm when served: probably prepared well in advance. For the same menu and quality of food, I pay around €15 in the Paris region. The price is therefore still a bit high in comparison. When I say the service was disorganized, it's not just the wait time, but also the accuracy of the order. After my main course, they forgot what I had for dessert, and they asked me if I wanted apple fritters or pineapple fritters for dessert. I actually ordered pearls! In addition, for some reason, it was really difficult to get a carafe of water from them. When I ordered, I asked for a carafe of water, but it wasn't served until my second request during dessert. The waitresses were well-intentioned. We exchanged a few words between courses, and they were quite friendly. One waitress doesn't understand French well, so she was a little nervous, but she remained pleasant. However, they really need to get organized. I worked in restaurants for years myself, most of the time I occupied 5-6 tables, doing better than them with 3.5 tables per waitress. I always gave out menus and carafes of water within a minute of the customers being seated. It was also really rare that I forgot the orders.

12/02/2026: This is honestly the worst Chinese food I've ever eaten. A frozen starter from the supermarket, quickly fried. A canned crab salad. The main course was supposedly Thai chicken—well, what was Thai about it is a mystery to me, but this was absolutely nothing, a bland meal. No smell or taste. I'd say don't eat it! And it was expensive, too!

10/02/2026: A wonderful discovery. The dining room is spacious and the tables aren't crammed together. The decor is pleasant. The concise menu confirms the freshness of the ingredients. The waitstaff is friendly and efficient. The dishes are beautifully presented and delicious. The price is fair. See you soon.
