Madame Galette
Remiremont
04/07/2026: Lovely dinner on our last night in Paris. Friend had the Lobster Linguine which was out of this world and my braised Lamb shoulder was delicious. My only complaint is that our food came out within 10 minutes of ordering. Even with dessert we were in and out of the restaurant in less than an hour. A bit rushed considering there was only a few other patrons dining. Nonetheless, a lovely place with great food.
29/06/2026: Food was not great and expensive for the quality. My lamb had a lot of fat almost no meat my wife c chicken was dry the sauce was not good and the cauliflower rice not good. The only good part was the bread

19/05/2026: We came for lunch today and had a wonderful meal. We were very happy with the set menu; everything was excellent. We rarely eat out because we're often disappointed, but you can go there without hesitation :) The service was also quick.
18/05/2026: Excellent place, traditional cuisine, high quality, and good value for money.
I highly recommend this very friendly little restaurant.

Restaurant Le Globe
Remiremont
17/05/2026: The storefront and interior layout have a slightly retro bar feel, and the dining room is nicely decorated. The welcome is friendly and the service relatively quick. The homemade dishes are prepared with care, sometimes with a touch of originality (special mention for the steak tartare on bone marrow!). Everything is excellent! We'll be back…
17/05/2026: I ate there on May 17, 2026, at lunchtime and was honestly very disappointed. We waited an hour for our meal. The flank steak, ordered rare, arrived on my plate medium-rare and really small. The potato fritters were microwaved. The fries smelled of used oil; you could taste it. Unfortunately, the cook is really not up to scratch. Even the pie was reheated the same way. Ugh. A €30 set menu that was only worth €10. Luckily, the green salad filled the plate. The cook is a microwave master. In short, it wasn't good at all. Luckily, the waitress was nice. I don't recommend it.

San Remo
Remiremont
13/07/2026: Excellent service and very good food. It was very busy, but the service kept up well.
05/07/2026: Honestly, we ate well, the dishes were really good! However, my partner and I got sick after our visit, and we both had burrata. Perhaps there was a problem with that?
The lemonade was a huge disappointment, especially considering the price and knowing that they make very good ones locally... it was clearly a cheap, low-quality lemonade, so not great in a restaurant.
The waiters were lovely, but I must point out that on Friday evening, a bartender (the only one wearing a white t-shirt, a necklace with a ring around his neck, and a tiny blond mustache) was incredibly rude to the waiters, which I find unacceptable, especially when you don't even know how to make a Monaco (a type of cocktail). In short, I wanted to try a restaurant that was apparently popular here, but I don't think I'll be going back. There are other, nicer restaurants in Remiremont.

Le Clos Heurtebise
Remiremont, 60-100€
11/04/2026: There are restaurants that aim to impress, and others that prefer to convince. Clos Heurtebise undoubtedly belongs to the latter category, those establishments that rely neither on showmanship nor excessive theatricality on the plate, but on a concept rarer today: that of pure pleasure.
At a time when so many establishments confuse sophistication with culinary frenzy, this restaurant offers, with its €39 menu, a composition of controlled simplicity, almost soothing. Here, the meal is not experienced as a demonstration, but as a promise kept: that of a harmonious, accessible moment, refined enough to leave a lasting impression.
The choice of a Minuty served throughout the meal immediately sets the tone. This wine, with its now well-established reputation, unfolds its southern freshness with an almost sophisticated ease. It accompanies the meal like summer light prolongs a late afternoon: without jarring, without abruptness, with a charming fluidity that prevents lunch from becoming heavy and dinner from becoming rigid. One might criticize this choice for its classicism; one would prefer to see it as a form of intelligence. The Minuty reassures, flatters, links the courses of the meal, and gives the whole a pleasing continuity.
But it is at dessert time that the table perhaps best reveals its personality. Not a flamboyant ambition, but a desire to conclude with grace.
The white chocolate and strawberry mousse could have fallen into the trap of being overly demonstrative, almost childish. But it doesn't. White chocolate, a potentially dangerous ingredient, as it doesn't tolerate excess well, is tempered here by the presence of strawberry, which brings depth, freshness, and an added touch of vibrancy. The result is a dessert that is sweet without being heavy, caressing without being bland, where the creamy richness finds a particularly pleasing fruity echo. It's a seductive finale.
The kiwi dessert, on the other hand, takes a completely different approach. More direct, more vibrant, almost more edgy, it awakens the palate where the other dessert had enveloped it. The kiwi, with its crisp acidity and almost sharp aroma, provides a more lively, more vertical conclusion. It's the dessert of rejuvenation, the one that cleanses the palate and leaves a lasting impression of controlled freshness.
What is so appealing at Clos Heurtebise, then, is not spectacular audacity. On the contrary, it's this ability to maintain a clear vision: to offer cuisine and a dining experience that don't pretend to revolutionize the gastronomic world, but that know how to remind us of the essentials—eating well, drinking well, and ending happily.
At 39 euros, this achievement deserves praise. Because in this price range, the slightest misstep is costly. Here, on the contrary, one senses an establishment that understands that true luxury doesn't always reside in the rarity of the product or the complexity of the execution, but in the coherence of a meal. A well-chosen wine, desserts that skillfully balance sweetness and freshness, an overall impression of poise: this is a language more precious than it seems.
Clos Heurtebise doesn't dazzle: it satisfies. And in a landscape saturated with restaurants that try too hard, this restraint, almost this wisdom, ultimately becomes a mark of distinction.
The critic's verdict: a restaurant of understated charm, where pleasure triumphs over showmanship, where the Minuty wine complements the meal with finesse, and where the desserts, ranging from the delicate sweetness of white chocolate and strawberry to the vibrant kiwi, offer a fitting, refreshing, and elegant conclusion. An establishment that doesn't seek to outshine the others, but which knows how to discreetly leave a lasting impression.

Sos Pizzas
Remiremont
25/03/2026: Ordered by phone on a Monday evening at 7:00 PM to pick up the pizzas at 8:00 PM.
For parking, there are spaces available on the street and a parking lot less than 100 meters away.
On arrival, a warm welcome and no delays. At 8:00 PM, the last two of the nine pizzas were finishing cooking.
A loyalty card and a bottle of rosé were offered. A very nice gesture for buying nine pizzas.
Regarding the pizzas, there were eight XXL and one medium. The nine pizzas had eight different toppings.
All the pizzas were delicious, the crust was extra thin, and the pizzas were generously topped. For an average eater, half an XXL pizza is enough. For a big eater, the XXL pizza is perfect; you'll be completely satisfied after finishing it.
Considering the size of the XXL pizza, the price is unbeatable.
A place to return to without hesitation!

La Locomotive
Remiremont
29/06/2026: The welcome was pleasant, the service impeccable, and the overall experience perfect. But all of that would be nothing if the wonderful Linda weren't there. Indeed, her mere presence makes everything far more exceptional than a simple stop at the bar. Because at La Loco, it's a true journey of emotion that you travel on the rails of pleasure. In conclusion, I'd like to borrow the apt and ideally fortuitous title of Daniel Balavoine's album "Face amour, face amère" (Love's Face, Bitter Face): "Love Linda." Sincere love and thanks,
Enzo

La Coupole
Remiremont
19/05/2026: A lovely brasserie/restaurant right in the center. They offer a small but excellent selection of lunch specials. The duck with raspberries was exceptionally well-prepared, preceded by a beautifully presented appetizer. The service was friendly and efficient. Prices are a bit higher than in other restaurants.
Definitely worth a visit for lunch.
01/05/2026: The decor is nice, and the service is fine, but it's still expensive. The bill came to 150 euros for 3 adults and 2 children, including a main course, dessert, and coffee. I know plenty of restaurants where we could have eaten better for that price.

Le Dragon d'Or

26/04/2026: A lovely little room, tastefully decorated in style, and impeccably clean! Friendly and quick service. Classic dishes from this type of restaurant, but well-prepared and delicious. A great time!
07/04/2026: Good, but it strays a bit from its Asian roots, adapting a little too much to the local clientele. A bit pricey for the portion sizes.
