Unlike most of the disgruntled people I've seen in other reviews, I had a fantastic time with my family! We had three cheeseburgers, one plate of spaghetti carbonara, one ribeye steak, and one sirloin steak, all of which were excellent! Our waiter, Bruno, was incredibly kind! Yes, we were asked to find our own seats at the entrance, but given how busy the restaurant was, I wouldn't say the service was terrible. It's more that you're dealing with a waiter who's busy and can't do much at once. As for the prices, they reflect the popularity of Chamonix. Keep in mind that other restaurants on the street offer equally expensive options.

This isn't worth 5, it's 2.6, it's a scandal. We were warmly welcomed and served with a smile on the terrace, and the pizzas and ice cream were perfectly acceptable. It's easily worth a 4.

Fantastic welcome, comfortably seated on the terrace facing Mont Blanc. The pizzas are delicious and generous. Special thanks to Bruno, our waiter, who was very friendly and helpful.

A great experience whether you're alone or with family at Café Valentino. There's something for everyone, from pizza to Milanese cutlets and salads, and it's sure to please everyone! A real treat 🙂 and a superb terrace

03/01/2026: Im an American . I dont speak French and the hostess and waitress did there best to accommodate me. Took time to explain any questions and the menu and the town. It was a great experience. The chef made a suggestion so I went with that. A pistachio steak, that was amazing. It came out with a metal plate with a flame under it. The sauce was as unique as it was amazing. You can tell they cook there food with love and passion. My wife order a cheese bake thing that was amazing. The chef was fantastic. We had tried hot wine in a few other places but there's was by far the most flavorful. Everything was so good we had to try dessert. We were not disappointed with the home made blue berry cake. We sat up stairs in a cozy environment. It was fairly busy but the staff performed at a high level with care for each table. My wife and is have been to a few restaurants in area but this was our favorite all around experience.

28/01/2026: Waitress forgot half our items and still asked for a tip. Food was ok, but not at all worth the insane prices (15 eur for a salad, 28 for a burger). Just pack your own lunch
