Quality food and very pleasant setting with a very well arranged garden. The service is a little slow but the prices are very reasonable. I recommend.

Everything can always be improved like everywhere but this restaurant is top in terms of culinary quality, space and service! I would happily go back and Angoulême, at least the center, is worth it. 😊

Chez Paul offers a quality culinary experience. The meat was perfectly cooked and flavorful, accompanied by grilled vegetables and a delicious sauce. For dessert, the vanilla ice cream, creamy and fragrant, was a treat, accompanied by a strong espresso. The service is attentive, and the setting pleasant. A restaurant that I recommend without hesitation.

We loved our evening in the garden of Chez Paul... warm welcome, quality meals (I highly recommend the chipirons and duck breast... delicious!), and very beautiful setting. We have returned there a few times since as a family too, always on top! Fast, friendly, and attentive service.

02/10/2024: Sardine box (each table on the east row is only 15cm apart) ordinary cooking almost mastered, high prices just for the rustic setting.
