Just had a fantastic weekend in Lyon and had a great few nights in The James Joyce. A gem in the heart of Lyon , Brandon and Niall are a great team , both so friendly and helpful, chatting with all the customers, it does really feel the your local in Ireland only better ! We had a great welcome from both French and Irish customers as well . Guinness was tested repeatedly by an expert and was excellent every time. Pints of Guinness to rival the best Dublin pubs. Full marks for atmosphere, cleanliness, and service. Highly recommend a visit. Thank you Brandon and Niall , we will certainly return.

Like an Irish country pub in the heart of Lyon, Guinness was great and the staff were very friendly, didn't have anything to eat so can't comment on that but if you want an Irish pub that has friendly Irish staff and a great atmosphere you won't find better. Brandon the manager and Niall can definitely pull good pints of Guinness. Will definitely come back.

Genuine Irish pub vibes, great service by very professional staff, great music selection and most importantly, a great pint of plain is served here. Totally recommended.
