I recently celebrated my twenty-fifth birthday at a restaurant that made the day memorable. From the moment I arrived, the team was welcoming and attentive, and I was delighted to discover that they had prepared a special surprise for me: a white chocolate plaque with "Happy Birthday" written on it! A thoughtful gesture that added a magical touch. The dishes I sampled were simply delicious, with each dish offering a perfect balance of flavors. I also had the pleasure of discovering non-alcoholic food and drink pairings which turned out to be a great discovery. The combination of French and Italian cuisine was very interesting, bringing a comforting variation to the classics. The signature dish of this restaurant is a real marvel. I would like to congratulate the entire team, both in the service and in the kitchen, for their exceptional work. Their professionalism and passion for gastronomy are felt in every detail, and this helps to create a warm and friendly atmosphere. Thank you to them for making this day an unforgettable memory. In summary, this culinary experience was a treat for my taste buds and a real delight to celebrate my birthday. I can only recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to have an exceptional time. We will come back with great pleasure, thank you very much.

Exceptional restaurant, remarkable cuisine! A magical setting to spend an extraordinary evening. Everything was great from the aperitif on the terrace to the sweet treats at the end. Memories inked for a moment. A great team, good luck!

My Muse took me to Maison Rosella, the new name of the Restaurant du Château de Port Lesnay, for a romantic meal. 2 covers on 5/07/24 at 12:30 p.m. Aperitif and Coffee on the Terrace, 6-course menu in the dining room. Apart from the places, under the influence of the new young chef, everything has changed, from the designer decor, refined and with a touch of Ibride, local decorator, original and modern plates... a service ritual with opening. Place the exceptional on the plate: truffles, caviar, lobster... The gastronome in a kilt particularly appreciated the Minestrone and the spaghetti, the signature dish. Spaghetti like that is worth the trip, to damn a Saint, to sell your kilt to the devil...

The restaurant called Maison Rosella is run by Francesco di Marcio. The greetings from the kitchen are excellent, the menu is consistent and the wine advice is competent. You can enjoy a large selection of wines from the Jura in particular here. In my opinion, the second star will soon shine above this fantastic restaurant in the Hotel Château de Germigney.

17/07/2024: Une grande maison proche de l’église. Service pourrait être plus souriant, un peu longuet. Menu à 39€ À la carte de très beaux plats assez chers (35€) que nous avons quand même pris. Belle présentation des assiettes. Amuses bouches Ballotine de truites, morilles, pleurotes, cromesquis de riz noir au comté Quasi de veau, gnocchis au riz de veau, poireaux, sauce comté Les cuissons sont maîtrisées, les goûts présents, les sauces à tomber… Desserts Le chocolat noir, bourgeon de sapins, noisettes Baba framboise et arquebuse Mignardises Les goûts sont maîtrisés, équilibrés. Délicieux. Les assiettes méritent d’être distinguées par les inspecteurs du guide rouge.

27/08/2024: We stopped by by chance as we are gourmet pastries. We did not regret the experience! This is gourmet pastry, the flavors combined are extremely well chosen, and above all a texture of incredible softness (we don't feel overwhelmed by butter and sugar which can sometimes happen in this area!) The person who served us was very kind and did not hesitate to tell us the history of the house and the desire to remain established in Arbois without seeking to expand at all costs. We felt a keen interest in craftsmanship and know-how (being a craftsman myself, I can only agree with their point of view!) So certainly the experience costs more than elsewhere, but the value for money is totally justified. If you have a sweet tooth and are sensitive to craftsmanship, don't hesitate to try one of their sweet treats!
