Not bad.
That said, I don't like being taken for a fool.
I asked the waitress what Sarladaise-style potatoes meant. She explained that they were potatoes cooked in a very fatty way, without giving any further details. I told her that I thought they were potatoes cooked in duck fat, and she replied that no, that's not the case.
I imagine that the term "style" allows for a new take on the recipe; it would have been nice to clarify that without lying.

Food was a bit variable, my wife's fish was superb but my Cassoulet was a bit dull and flavourless. But lovely atmosphere, great location, spotlessly clean, desserts were very good, lovely Belgian beer and the waitresses were charming and helpful.

Food not exceptional: salad wilted with foie gras, Sarladaise potatoes swimming in fat, the quantities were very frugal. On the other hand, the waitresses were very friendly and pleasant but very rushed, the services followed one after the other. We were inside and their repeated visits, their announcing of dishes, their stress to serve as quickly as possible, were quite overwhelming. Not a great memory...

Very good restaurant with fast and pleasant service. The products are of good quality, the only downside is the quantity on the plates could be a little larger.

Very warm welcome despite the large crowd.
The meal met our expectations, with fresh, cooked ingredients.
Good value for money. I recommend it.
A tip is offered by the EFT (electronic payment terminal) but not required.
Very friendly and attentive staff, with a fast pace.
A must-try during your visit to Sarlat 😉

Very good and generous menu.

We came for lunch during our stay in the Dordogne. The dishes were well-prepared, but the portions were small. We regretted not ordering a starter, as the portion of ratatouille and potatoes in the main course wasn't very generous.
I also regret having to eat with the smell of tobacco smoke from the person eating next to us. It's been prohibited since July 1st, and no one has mentioned it to them.
Nevertheless, we enjoyed our meal, the welcome, and the service.
