Hiking from Bidart to St Jean-de-Luz, I was so happy to find this bar open on February 26th, under summer-like weather! A very warm welcome, a fantastic location with a breathtaking sea view, and excellent food (special mention for the red berry panna cotta). I promised to leave a (good) review... and here it is!

I highly recommend you try the Bistrot du Matin. It's only open in the summer, but the view of the Atlantic Ocean is exceptional. The dishes are delicious, especially the grilled baby squid, which I had with a cookie, and it was divine. I highly recommend you try this restaurant.

The setting was very pleasant. The food was good, but on the day of our visit, the service was very slow. It took 1 hour and 15 minutes to get our main course, without a starter, and with four children.

Magical place with a superb sea view. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Delicious and locally sourced food. The coffee is very good too. Reasonable prices.

We thought we would find an average seaside bistro, we were delighted by the setting, the service, magnificent sunset, excellent wine, perfectly cooked fresh fish, and a mega salted butter caramel cookie to finish. We will return for an aperitif/charcuterie board
