Le Grand Café sur Rodez

Beyond the very warm welcome, the food was delicious, seasonal, and, very rarely, 100% homemade! A great place to remember in Rodez! I'll be back.

We had a fantastic lunch on the terrace at Le Grand Café. We each chose one of the three dishes on the menu that day and thoroughly enjoyed it. The interior decor is also particularly lovely. The value for money is excellent, don't hesitate!

It's a shame that since the Place de la Cité renovations, we've had to look elsewhere and might not go back because there's no more parking there. It's a pity because this shaded square was magnificent in its old-fashioned way, embodying the image one has of Rodez, sacrificed in the name of the almighty tourist industry. Poor elderly people who used to come to this square to find a bit of coolness in the summer, which will no longer be possible given the tiny shrubs that have been planted. 2026, heatwave, the terrace was so hot with no shade from the trees that we went to another café. What a shame.

Excellent meal and great atmosphere, fast service and friendly staff. We ate there twice in the same restaurant because it was so good. I highly recommend it! 🎉

During a short visit to Rodez, we needed to find a place for lunch. Just steps from the magnificent cathedral, we received a very warm welcome. A nice bonus was their willingness to accommodate a vegetarian option. The main courses and starters were excellent! Flavorful and fresh. Don't hesitate!

We took a short break in Rodez, so we stopped here and it was PERFECT. The welcome was very friendly and we ate very well.

The setting is very nice, but be aware that anyone (a minor) who is not consuming food or drinks cannot sit down... even if it's said with a smile (and is perfectly legal), I still can't believe it... so first and last time.

We loved it! Fresh ingredients cooked perfectly and harmoniously. Everything is well-balanced. The staff is friendly and the service is pleasant. I highly recommend it!

I often come here for coffee, but this time I discovered the restaurant and had a wonderful evening. I really appreciated the staff's kindness. A very pleasant experience; I'll gladly return!
