Lemon COFFEE sur Embrun

Great meal on the terrace with magnificent sunshine. We were too hot in the middle of November. The dish was excellent and plentiful, a slight drawback for the desserts. The chocolate pear tart was just a shortbread tart with pastry cream, chocolate chips and 3 pieces of raw pear placed on top….. The dessert was very good. Good address.

Nice restaurant with a good warm atmosphere. We had a very pleasant evening. The dishes were pretty and good, everyone was happy with their dish. Small comment however for the Royal chocolate which we found far too salty. Very good continuation and thank you!

The setting and interior decoration are pleasant. The restaurant is positioned at a high price range but the presentation and quality do not match. Other restaurants in the same price range offer more refined cuisine. The welcome was courteous and professional apart from forgetting to serve the drink ordered even though it was not a busy evening.

The Rooftop is first of all the successful rehabilitation of a rather ugly old building but ideally located on the edge of the Embrun lake. First experience in July 2020: We went to the bar area on the terrace with a group of friends and obviously the reservation had been forgotten by the staff. Tables and chairs (canteen style) set up in a hurry. We did not stay there long given the noise level of the musical atmosphere (DJ and saxophonist) which prevents us from having a conversation with our counterpart. Second experience in July 2023: this time at the restaurant as a couple. Installed on a terrace but far from the water's edge with a view more of the parking lot. A good quarter of an hour before we are taken care of: not enough cards (the restaurant is almost full) and this is limited to drinks. When I make the comment to the waiter, he takes a bit of a look at me to explain the "concept": you first order a drink and the menu on a slate is then brought to you to order the dishes. Except that we drink wine which we pair with the chosen dishes... The rest of the meal ends better. Fast service once the order (finally) is taken and the dishes are good.
