An ambitious restaurant with a seven-course tasting menu that promises some delightful surprises. Most of the dishes are meticulously prepared and demonstrate real culinary potential. Unfortunately, two of them fall flat: too simple, almost rushed, and clearly not up to the standard of the rest of the menu. It's a shame because when the chef puts in the effort, the results speak for themselves. As for the ambiance, the white lighting somewhat diminishes the warmth one would expect from this type of gastronomic experience. A minor detail, but one that becomes noticeable over the course of a multi-course meal.

Everything is very controlled. Too controlled. The Italian wine list is gradually dwindling, like losing one's hair. Over the years, I've gone from enthusiasm to (overpriced) boredom. It's as if the orchid has lost its bloom. This rigidity is neither Italian nor does it correspond to my idea of ​​Japan. At this point, I wouldn't invite my friends to this cold room anymore, whereas I was so proud to do so a few years ago, when the sun still lit the interior. The talent is still there, without a doubt, but it's self-censoring and withering away. The sadness of this charmless street is contaminating the place. This is the perspective of a longtime friend who wishes the orchid would bloom again.
