Pedra Alta sur Paris

I walked down the street near the Champs-Élysées. I was looking for a place that felt real. I found Pedra Alta. It became the place I loved most in this city. ​The food arrived at the table. It was heavy. It looked like a mountain from the sea. The lobster and shrimp were piled high. I could smell the fire that had cooked them. I tasted the seafood rice. The broth was deep and red. It felt like a warm tide washing over me. I ate the fries and I felt a quiet satisfaction. ​The people working there were bright. They laughed loudly. Their energy filled the space between us. We stood together on the stairs for a picture. I felt their kindness. The restaurant was full of the sound of people eating and talking. It was a good noise. ​The price was honest. The food was vast. I will remember this place. I will come back to sit at this table again. I want to meet that deep ocean once more.

Between the Boulogne and Champs-Élysées locations, this one is by far the best. The service is quick, meaning you don't have to wait in line for hours in the cold. The dishes are cooked and served with professionalism and care. The staff, although very busy, takes great care of each table and remains smiling and welcoming. The rib steak is delicious. Once a quarter, we enjoy a romantic dinner for two, and we've never been asked to leave. Admittedly, it's a bit noisy, but that's because people forget they're not alone. The restaurant isn't to blame. The best Pedra Alta in Paris.

About a 30-minute wait for our 5:45 pm arrival... The food was good! Except for the seafood; it's much better on the coast! We were seated upstairs, which was cramped and extremely noisy.

Excellent! I was also surprised by the generous portion of the dish that was brought to us! Very good and plentiful. I couldn't finish it, so I took the rest home.

A Portuguese restaurant and a favorite in Paris. The seafood dishes are wonderful, the steaks are exceptional, and the service is excellent.
