So sur Dijon

First time at this lovely little restaurant and we received a very warm welcome and finished every last crumb! The wines by the glass were also very good, I highly recommend it!

This is a French restaurant run by Japanese people. Reservations can be made via private message on their Facebook fan page! We were a group of Taiwanese dining there, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout, introducing the food and recommending drinks. If you speak Japanese, you can communicate with them in Japanese. The food was delicious, with some seasonings that had a distinctly Japanese flavor, creating a unique fusion of Japanese and French cuisine. The Basque cake for dessert was absolutely amazing—a must-order!! It was perfectly caramelized, and the white chocolate mousse was also incredibly delicious; we loved it. Thank you to the restaurant for making our first night in Dijon such a wonderful experience! 🎑

Second time at So. The first time was in 2020, right after the lockdown. Still very happy with the quality of the food, the presentation, and the new flavors. €35 for the set lunch menu (starter, main course, dessert). Very good service.

Book with someone you're looking for! The cuisine combines presentation, structure, and elegant presentation. The time between courses is a bit long, so you have to want to enjoy the company of the people you're with. The dishes are honorable, and the refined, refined flavor will make you forget that you have to wait a bit. The only downside is that even if you order the house aperitif, you won't be served any appetizers. The service is friendly and efficient.

We came because of the great reviews. Unfortunately our experience was ruined by a very long waiting time for the food (50min). Staff is very polite but no excuses for the waiting… A table beside us left after having lost patience. Beef tataki was good though.

First of all, praise for the chef's performance. Everything was perfectly balanced and delicious. My criticism concerns the wait and the inattentive service. The three-course meal lasted from 12:30 to 3:00 p.m. We sat for what felt like an eternity between courses, waiting for our empty plates to be cleared away at our request. We also had to ask for a baguette, and if you're one of those guests who gets a slice of bread twice, you might wonder if it's your fault. The wine is very expensive, and it made our bill correspondingly more expensive because we bridged the long wait with a second glass. This really spoiled the enjoyment of a great meal. A shame.

A lovely discovery near the center of Dijon! A friendly and cheerful waitress. The products are high-quality and the setting is pleasant. I recommend the matcha tea tiramisu. Dogs are allowed upon request!

The front-of-house lady works tirelessly and always greets you with a smile. The back-of-house OMO delivers excellent dishes — the food was absolutely delicious! SO take your time, relax, enjoy great conversation, and soak in the atmosphere.
