Every time my husband and I are in Beaune we’ll make a conscious effort to come here, if not for food at least a drink. Really chilled atmosphere, fantastic wine list and the staff are extremely welcoming (and patient with my not so great French).

Some would say that French hospitality is no more and that the sense of hospitality has disappeared. This will certainly not be the case here. I would like to thank the owner of this establishment for saving my evening. The little Tourbillon 2022, the salted Morvan accompanied by this pâté en croute and this just-ripe coulommiers transformed what must have been a very sad evening into a treat for the taste buds. Many thanks.

Very nice address! We stumbled upon it last year and loved it so much that we couldn't resist going back 😋 Beautiful wine list and quality products! Pommard mamamia rillette We feel good there… we eat well and we drink well! I love their little terrace along the ramparts.

A rainy summer evening. Pouring. We spontaneously went there for a quick aperitif…. and left happily 3 hours later! After a glass of white (nice choice), we decided to stay in this so wonderfully casual, natural, homey place that serves simple but excellent food: terrine, humus, burrata and cheese platter. The wine list knocks you out of your socks! We took a Corton 2013; just wonderful. We stayed under the external blinds on the terrace, under the pouring rain. Wonderful! We so happily dropped our initial intention to go to a Michelin star restaurant; we were just happy in this informal and happy places. Thank you guys!

this is probably the only pub we can find in Beaune showing sports games. We had a great time watching euro cup final. there are some foods enough to fill us up while waiting and watching the game. The only tiny thing is they don't have WiFi for guests

30/08/2024: finalmente in borgogna per l'agognato tour dei vini, scegliamo il menù fisso a € 30 che include antipasto con uova cotte in vino rosso, un bel manzo alla bourguignonne, davvero tenero, servito con patate e per finire formaggio per dessert, vino rosso chorey les beaune maillard a € 45.

15/09/2024: Attracted by the super reviews, we had an enjoyable if somewhat expensive dinner. We had made a reservation and were pleased to be seated in the cellar, which was not guaranteed. There isnt a wine list but a "Bible"and we were happy to be guided through it by a member of the team. The wines are as eye wateringly expensive as you would expect in a fine dining restaurant. This review should have been 5* but the fish main course was really an incredibly small piece of sea bass and it was hard to find the figs in the fig tart. By contrast the beef cheek was a huge portion. The highlight of our meal was being guided through the cheeseboard to understand the provenance of the local cheeses and the right order in which to eat them to enjoy their flavours to the full.
