06/09/2026: We came for a one-night stay as a couple. We were greeted by Christ with a big smile and immense kindness. The room was perfect, cozy and romantic, tastefully decorated. Finally, a love room that doesn't feel like a sex room but rather focuses on the comfort and romance a couple needs. This place should be better known for its charm, but also for its delicious cuisine, which offers excellent value for money and I think is the only one of its caliber for miles around... Not to mention the smiling, pleasant, close-knit, and attentive staff.

30/08/2026: Beautiful and peaceful setting. Very warm welcome, the waitress was very pleasant and smiling. Excellent meal, very reasonable price.

22/07/2026: A friendly face immediately upon entering. You are served quickly and the food was delicious. Nice music and a great atmosphere. The only downside is that they don't speak English. But oh well. That's not such a big deal these days. Google Translate works wonders.

01/09/2026: The only excuse they gave me was, "Oh, maybe it was the red oak that bothered you." The mixed salad was the only thing on the plate that wasn't bad. And I was really looking forward to enjoying the meat... Thank goodness they offered some kind of compensation! Unfortunately, I won't tolerate the lack of respect when they dare to serve me that!

03/08/2026: The server wasn't very attentive. My request for a burger remains unanswered. The meat was of decent quality. There was a bit of a wait depending on the time of day, which is normal for well-cooked meat. As for the atmosphere, a little music wouldn't hurt.

07/09/2026: As regular customers of this restaurant for the past two years, drawn to its cozy decor, we have been very disappointed on several occasions. The menus are no longer of the same quality, and the seating arrangements imposed by the waiters have been a major issue. We had reserved a table for two in a non-smoking area, but we had no choice but to dine on the patio surrounded by several smokers. I'm not criticizing the smokers themselves, but rather the impossibility of protecting oneself from the elements. Not only are these internal policies illegal, but after two bouts with cancer, I believe I have the right to a non-smoking area, as required by law. Extremely disappointed. Our evening was ruined. The price is exorbitant and doesn't reflect the quality of the service. Not to mention the ever-present and far too loud music. Avoid this place.

The well-balanced wine complemented the meal perfectly, and the experience concluded with a soothing cup of linden tea and a complimentary drink. It was such a relief to find a place still open at 10 pm, especially after arriving at 9:30 pm from Madrid. The outdoor seating in a quaint and picturesque square added to the overall charm. 26/08/2026: After a bad experience at a neighboring restaurant, we decided to try La Table du Safran. We were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff, especially the two waitresses who asked if everything was alright 👍 The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, the wait was quick, and we enjoyed truly excellent mussels marinière, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Thank you to the chef who delighted us! 😝 I also noted the excellent value for money! We will definitely be back! You can go there without hesitation 😎

19/08/2026: Seeing the chocolate advertised at €4.60, but getting to the checkout and paying €5.40, is not right. To point this out to the cashier and be told, "I know, it's not the first time I've heard that," is deception, even theft.

01/08/2026: I quite like this chain, but at the Urvillers rest area, it's outrageous. An espresso for €2.40, 1.5 cm of coffee in the cup, and the Pulco isn't even fresh. It's a real tourist trap.

20/08/2026: We were delighted with our experience at this small restaurant. The kebab meat was very thinly sliced, lean, and excellent. The kebab sandwiches (crepe/poached) were very well balanced in terms of the amount of meat, sauce, and vegetables, as well as their distribution. They weren't homemade fries, but they weren't bad. The dining room was very pleasant. The kebab menu was very reasonably priced.
