11/08/2026: Negative: The meat was cooked catastrophically! (Absolutely no skill whatsoever.) It must be the dishwasher or the cleaner who's manning the grill during service! I've never seen anything like it: There's no way to choose the doneness; it arrives very well-done, overcooked, the chicken (parguit) is tough and dry, the escalope is over-fried (dry), the steak tastes like the garlic merguez sausage that was cooked on the grill beforehand, and the meat is flattened and crushed with a spatula, with burn marks from the grill not being cleaned between courses! The salad elements on the plate are purely decorative (no dressing, nothing, just dry lettuce). The ketchup: is served in snack packets! This makes absolutely no sense for a sit-down restaurant with table service! What are you thinking? I'm going to ruin your evening so you open 10 packets of ketchup and get it everywhere, instead of just putting one tube on the table! The service: The waiters, while friendly, are completely unprofessional (they're young and overworked). They ask questions like, "Everything was fine... it was good," but if you tell them "no," they reply "sorry" but don't take responsibility for their mistake at all. Basically, the meat tastes like merguez sausage... sorry, but you're going to pay the bill! At least they have the honesty and courage to admit it. The payment! The waiter doesn't bring you the bill! You have to get up and go to the register to get paid right away! You ask for a receipt: they give you a credit card receipt! You ask for your receipt again, and they give you a receipt with no details! Positive: The children's menu is interesting and well thought out: €15 for a main course, drink, and a small ice cream (but avoid the nuggets! They're dry schnitzel cut into strips with seeds that children don't like!). The restrooms are clean! The food arrives quickly! The fries are very good! The meat is good and fresh: it seems to come from the butcher shop next door! Conclusion: I won't be back, because it's not a restaurant, it's a snack bar!

14/09/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Absolutely horrible experience at Cité d’Or 168 in Antibes. We went to eat, tried several dishes from the buffet, and unfortunately, it really wasn't good. We didn't like it, so we left it. We weren't going to force ourselves to eat something we didn't like! But the worst part was when it came time to pay: the cashier literally ATTACKED us, accusing us of wasting food and trying to charge us an extra €8! Excuse me, but since when do you have to pay extra for trying dishes and not liking them?! At no point did we see any clear rule indicating this charge. She insisted it was written on the table, but we hadn't seen it. And, as if by magic, when she realized we weren't going to pay the €8 and that we weren't going to let her get away with it, she removed it and started to calm down! The staff is extremely unpleasant. We'd barely arrived when they pounced on us for cocktails, without even giving us a chance to sit down. Then, they kept checking on us at our table every five minutes to see if we'd finished. We felt watched and rushed to leave. We came to enjoy a peaceful meal, not to be treated like this. Between the food, which is truly awful, and the staff who think they can get away with anything, it's a disaster. We will NEVER return. And frankly, I strongly advise against this place. Save your money and go somewhere else!

13/09/2026: Fabulous French brasserie with good quality food and friendly service. The old poor reviews do not reflect current levels. Very busy and popular for a reason.

11/09/2026: The food was excellent, no complaints there! However, the staff were extremely unpleasant, condescending, and rude. I came with my English friends, and they were incredibly disrespectful to them...let's just say I wouldn't really recommend it.

20/08/2026: I agree with the sentiment from previous comments. The customer service is poor, and the owner is rude. Save your time and visit the many other places in the surrounding area.

03/09/2026: Restaurant to avoid! Terrible service, the waitress looked like she'd just come from the beach and was filthy. The food was tasteless and poorly presented. You should find another line of work. We sent back the beef, which wasn't even browned and was tough, but the owner's wife was surprised and said it would be the same! Of course, the meat was straight from the freezer and cut into small pieces without being cooked or browned beforehand! One time and last. And it's expensive for what it is! You'd have to eat kosher with this food!

29/08/2026: Catastrophic, outrageously expensive, a disgrace!!! Portion size for 3-year-olds!!! We ordered a dish with sauce and the rice had to be ordered separately! Two spoonfuls of rice charged at 8 euros!!! They're just thieves with absolutely no scruples!!!! Disgusting!

30/08/2026: We waited at least 25 minutes for our cocktails. The bartender was all alone with a string of vouchers for company. It was very difficult to find a server; they were clearly understaffed. As for the food, it was a disaster: cold and tasteless. The value for money was very disappointing, especially when you wait over an hour for your meal. The atmosphere was quite cool, but the service definitely needs improvement.
