04/08/2026: I wanted to find a nice hole in the wall, family ran restaurant where locals eat and this checked all of the boxes. Everyone that entered were treated like family and friends. The food portions were large. We ordered the combo and it was a sandwich, pasta salad and a dessert. Highly recommend going here for lunch, but bring an appetite!

The menu offers a limited selection, but all are well-designed and of excellent quality. The staff is truly friendly and helpful. Prices are in line with the quality of the food and service. Nicolas, a former sommelier with experience in prestigious restaurants in Burgundy and on the French Riviera, has taken over this restaurant with great passion. There's no set wine list: he takes the time to chat with each table to find the perfect pairing for the dish and the wine. We sampled the cherry tomato tarte tatin with smoked pimentón oil as a starter—a delight—followed by an original stuffed duck neck and beautiful prawns in a pepper purée. On the wine front, a Pét'nat from Domaine Serol, a delightful off-the-beaten-path choice, and a Chartreuse to finish the meal for those who appreciate it. The service is provided by Nicolas himself, who is warm and attentive. A must-visit for lovers of natural wine and generous cuisine in Antibes.

The setting is absolutely beautiful—tucked away in a peaceful square, creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed and memorable evening. The food was simply outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented, bursting with fresh flavours, and prepared with incredible attention to detail. You can really appreciate the quality of the ingredients and the passion that goes into every plate. The service was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and professional without ever feeling intrusive. The team made us feel genuinely cared for throughout the entire meal. An unforgettable dining experience that perfectly captures the charm and elegance of the French Riviera. We will certainly be returning and would highly recommend Le Safranier to anyone looking for outstanding food, wonderful service, and a truly special atmosphere.

18/08/2026: We were drawn to the location because it seemed like a cool place these days. As we were entering, the waitress rudely stopped us from entering, saying we needed a reservation. She made us sit with a small child in a very hot outdoor area. We asked for an oat milk latte and were given a long coffee with a little oat milk foam. The pain au chocolate was sold out, so we asked if they could fill a croissant, and the waiter refused, giving us the croissant along with a little Nutella in a small bowl. But above all, the price for all this was grossly outrageous: a fake oat milk latte, a cappuccino, and two empty croissants for €18, and on top of that, it almost seemed like they were doing their customers a favor. A huge disappointment, a place to avoid, a classic decoy.

05/08/2026: Terrible experience. Don't go there if you have any food allergies. The wait staff is completely unprepared and very rude. I asked what I could have for a main course that wasn't gluten-free; the waiter suggested a tuna dish without the filo pastry. Too bad the dish also had soy sauce.

04/08/2026: We had a very pleasant time around the wash house. The seven-hour lamb and the confit salmon were excellent. A slight disappointment with the chocolate sauce on the dome.

Everything was perfect: the warm welcome, the elegant decorations, the impeccable service, and their exceptional availability. The meal was entirely homemade and delicious. The dessert was a real showstopper! The six children present each had their own table and were then able to play all afternoon in the shaded courtyard. All the guests were delighted. Thank you so much for everything!
