La Broche De Leonard
Cannes
17/06/2024: Un accueille sympathique, nous avons très bien dîné, des entrées des plats copieux de bonnes qualités avec beaucoup de saveurs. La patronne est accueillante et souriante. Une bonne table
27/05/2024: Went here off the beat somewhat from the film festival and happened upon it, luckily. I seen the reviews were solid and tried the chicken salad. It was delicious and the coffee there was also good. Recommend it, the prices were good, I think 16 euros for that salad at lunchtime.

Claire Fontaine

24/05/2026: A small bar with a PMU (Private Management Unit) that stands out from the crowd and is a real surprise!
Very well run, and the gentleman who manages it is truly charming: polite, respectful, and clearly a true expert in the hospitality industry with undeniable know-how.
The atmosphere is perfect: the people who frequent it are very relaxed and you can tell they're from the neighborhood.
Beautiful decor, impeccable service and expertise. Plus, spotless cleanliness.
I was alone, on a Sunday during a long weekend, and I felt not only welcome but also completely safe.
A great find right in the city center that I highly recommend.
Thank you for that wonderful moment of calm and cool air on a hot day.

Papilla
Cannes
15/06/2026: Very disappointing experience. None of the dishes we ordered were enjoyable. The pizza lacked flavor, the pasta was mediocre at best, and the risotto was bland and heavy. It looked much better than it tasted. For a restaurant serving Italian food, the quality was surprisingly poor. We left wondering how they managed to make pizza, pasta, and risotto all taste so uninspiring.
25/05/2026: Good pizza and a good location. If you are near the Pantheon/Luxembourg Gardens, definitely give it a shot.

04/06/2026: Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the quality of the food.
We ordered the schnitzel sandwich and the pulled beef platter, each costing €15.
For the schnitzel sandwich: The schnitzel was a bit dry, and so was the challah bread, so overall it was rather heavy and lacked moisture and sauce. 😕
For the pulled beef platter: They really need to improve the presentation. I was brought a small plate with the pulled beef covered in melted cheese on one side, and iceberg lettuce with three pickle slices dumped on the other… I didn't take a picture, but frankly, for €15, it looked very sloppy.
The pulled beef was very good nonetheless, but the salad was completely uninteresting.
The service was okay. But overall, the lack of taste and the excessively high price mean we won't be back…
24/05/2026: The sandwich was quite good and generous. The flavors were fairly well-defined.
The €7 seasonal salad is unnecessary.
I don't understand why they suggest leaving a tip when they're so unpleasant; they should have just taken the payment directly.
Finally, the tone of the sign in the restroom is presumptuous and unpleasant. The reference to Gare du Nord is immature and not at all funny. See attached image.
