12/09/2026: Extremely slow service (over 15 minutes wait for two drinks) even though there were no other customers to serve. Unfriendly waitress. Exorbitant prices (€4.50 for a can of Coke).
11/09/2026: A disaster! We came for the lunch special. The sea bream with vegetables was good, but the sirloin steak was inedible, as tough as shoe leather. But the worst part was the Italian waitress who ignored customers, refused to speak French, complained constantly, made faces, and her entire behavior towards customers was very disrespectful! She never even came back to our table to take our dessert order after our meal. Instead, she preferred to take her cigarette break and be on the phone... I'm only giving it a second star thanks to another waiter who kindly helped us resolve our food issues, and also thanks to the owner and his attitude in this kind of situation, as he removed one meal from our bill. It's the first time I've had to complain about the quality of the food and service in France... I believe it's better to let customers wait a little longer if there aren't enough staff available, and to fire the useless waitress who ruins everything.

29/08/2026: Huge disappointment: the socca was soggy, tasteless, unpeppered, and microwaved right in front of us (but still served cold), the flammekueche was overcooked and dry, and the pichade tasted burnt and was also dry… Go elsewhere if you want to discover real specialties!!! Socca lovers will be extremely disappointed.
29/08/2026: Absolutely terrible. The socca was undercooked, unlike the pichade and flamme kache, which had been left in the oven and were therefore overcooked. A complete tourist trap, avoid at all costs!

26/04/2024: Finalmente quest'anno siamo riusciti a provare questo posto strepitoso! Il cibo veramente ottimo, panini super abbondanti e con prodotti ottimi.
Il locale molto carino e super adatto per una cena con gli amici o con la famiglia.
Super consigliato!
20/03/2024: Damien et son papa son au top! Première visite dans la belle famille juste en face. Très bonne découverte! Plat généreux et très copieux. Vos burgers sont à tomber par terre, les frites maison sont exceptionnelles. Très belle région, belle premières fois et nous reviendront avec grand plaisir … peut être en été 2024 …

20/07/2026: This restaurant is already known to me in another location, also in Menton.
It recently reopened, and I must admit it's in a very convenient location for a variety of reasons and conveniences.
The place is very welcoming and clean, making you feel right at home.
I also appreciated the hospitality of the management, who were highly professional. The food was excellent if you wanted to stop for lunch (the quality and price were above average, convenient).
I highly recommend it, it deserves it!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It deserves all five stars.

Cela fait plus de vingt ans que j’y viens à chaque séjour à Menton et plusieurs fois séjour.
Tout est un régal ici. J’ai tellement hâte d’y retourner dès le jour de notre arrivée le 12 août prochain !!!

15/08/2024: Food was excellent but the service was poor. No water served until we had asked twice. The ordered drinks were not served until after our meal and again only after asking twice. Waiter and waitress were gruff and not very welcoming. Service really let down the food which was great.
06/08/2024: Serveurs antipathique, repas avec des pâtes pas cuites, très très Al dente malgré mon souhait demandées !
Un groupe de collègues au repas. Aucunes de nous a pu terminer son repas ! A fuir !!!

07/08/2023: Découverte par hasard de ce restaurant italien mais quelle surprise le patron sympathique et convivial... des plats faits maison de très bonne qualité et les desserts (le tiramisu et panna cotta) au mon dieu... c'est sûr nous reviendrons...même l addition ne fait pas fuir et à Menton c'est un exploit bravo continué ainsi et merci au chef. des Normands en balade...
