16/07/2026: The best wine bar, the benchmark in Old Nice. Established in 1947, Jean-Philippe Gazan, the owner and manager of La Cave de la Tour, is dedicated to preserving traditions. For connoisseurs and lovers of Niçois wines, they offer wines from Bellet and Saint-Jeannet, at the foot of the Baou. Even if you're welcomed in, you'll feel like you've entered paradise. "There are men and there are Niçois," proclaims the slogan above the entrance; it says it all. The best selection of rosés is available at the bar, particularly from the Estandon cooperative winery. They also offer local wines on tap, available to take away in bottles. Always excellent. Consider ordering small plates for an aperitif (especially the beautiful charcuterie board) and come for the annual World Championship of Stuffed Vegetables – it's a truly prestigious event! 16/09/2026: Today, September 16th at 10:00 AM. The service was frankly unpleasant. A short, unfriendly saleswoman greeted me with a curt and dismissive "Next!" as if she were managing a prison queue rather than a bakery. 😅 You almost feel like you're bothering them just by coming to buy something. A smile and a little courtesy would have been appreciated.

13/09/2026: Tonight I had a seafood dinner, and there was even someone singing in the restaurant 🎤. As soon as I sat down, someone actually sang "The Moon Represents My Heart" to me — it was quite a novel experience 🤣! But honestly, all the restaurants in the tourist area sell pretty much the same stuff, and this one was just so-so ~ the seafood wasn't particularly impressive. Now the main point! When it was time to pay, the waiter insisted that we pay a service charge, Euro 5 was added 💸. On top of that, he said the card wouldn't go through, and while reentering the amount, he sneakily added another 5 Euro. The whole thing was just so frustrating! Back at the hotel, I found out that many other people had the exact same experience. The restaurant does respond to guests' other complaints — but when it comes to this issue, they avoid it completely and say nothing. Everyone traveling to Nice, remember to watch out for restaurant "traps"! 😱 When eating, always check the bill carefully, and don't just let people add charges randomly! The restaurant is located in the tourist area of Nice, with many similar restaurants nearby. When visiting Nice, remember to stay alert — enjoy the food while making sure you don't get ripped off! 👀

13/09/2026: Very disappointing experience We waited around 40 minutes before asking another server about our order. Only then were we told that the beer we ordered was unavailable. We were also told that our food had been delayed because of the beer, which didn’t make much sense. When the food finally arrived, the mussels were poorly cleaned and still had a lot of beard attached. The bread was also burnt. Overall, the service was disorganized and the food quality was disappointing. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place based on our experience.

01/03/2026: A very unpleasant experience last night. I was waiting in line normally when two customers who arrived after me were served before me. When I politely pointed this out, the waitress responded curtly, claiming they were ahead of me, which is untrue. What's even more disturbing is that these customers thanked the waitress, saying "Thank you, Auntie," which clearly suggests they were acquaintances. If that's the case, it would be more honest to admit the favoritism rather than accuse the customers of lying. Instead of a simple exchange to clarify the situation, the tone escalated unnecessarily. A man in the queue became aggressive, even threatening to have me removed. Then a security guard intervened, speaking to me inappropriately. As a result, I was publicly insulted simply for pointing out an injustice in the order of service. Mistakes happen, but the lack of respect and aggressive handling of the situation are unacceptable. I am very disappointed by the staff's professionalism.

25/02/2026: Disgusting, undercooked bugnes, it's even worse since the change of name, the salad is absolutely good, very bad, never again.

24/10/2025: €5 or €7 pizza, take your pick!! I simply urge you to avoid this place. Pizza undercooked in the center and burnt on the outside. You'll end up with a bad case of diarrhea. I wonder how this joint is still standing.

04/10/2025: I was traveling to Nice from China and this was the best Neapolitan pizza I've ever had, well worth the money!

20/05/2026: Honestly, one of the worst Asian restaurant experiences of my life. I ordered sweet and sour chicken, but there was practically no real meat in it, no chicken at all. This restaurant is a rip-off. The texture was really strange and frankly disgusting… I'm still wondering what I ate; I was sickened. I paid €10 for an inedible dish. Luckily, it came with rice, otherwise I wouldn't have eaten anything at all. Very disappointed, I definitely do not recommend it.

03/08/2026: As the reviews said, the prices are cheap, but the exterior looks unsanitary. I ordered orange chicken and Indian curry fried rice, but they just haphazardly microwaved it for me. The chicken was too salty and mushy, and the fried rice was completely inedible; the outside was dry and hard from the microwave, while the grains inside were all mushy from the moisture. I was really hungry, but I couldn't eat more than a few spoonfuls and left the rest.

11/08/2026: This place was closed. Made an online reservation today and when we got there it was closed. Not sure if it is permanently closed but there was no sign indicating that they are closed just for holiday.

18/06/2026: What happened to Le Tire Bouchon? A creative restaurant that offered samples of any dish in a smaller portion for those who couldn't decide, a restaurant with a full menu featuring three meats, three fish, three vegetables, and three desserts, a restaurant where every dish was carefully considered in its pairings AND presentation—well, this restaurant has become a run-down betting shop, serving tired bistro fare, pasta (wow!), and flaunting its reputation for being the dead man of Le Tire Bouchon. I'm writing this comment later because I stumbled across some old photos from one of my visits to Le Tire Bouchon, with a salmon dish accompanied by three different creamy soups, which gave the plate a truly striking appearance, and it made me angry again to see the restaurant still bearing the same name.

25/08/2026: Very disappointing experience. My girlfriend and I stopped by on a very hot day simply to buy some water and cool down for a moment. I bought a bottle to take away, and since the café was completely empty with plenty of free tables, we sat down briefly to drink some water before leaving. The bartender/owner immediately confronted us because the water had been purchased “to go.” When I explained that we were only sitting for a minute because of the heat, he raised his voice, started shouting aggressively and eventually told us to leave. Completely unacceptable treatment of customers. Seeing two people, including a woman clearly needing some water and a moment out of the heat, and responding with hostility instead of basic hospitality says a lot about this place. I strongly recommend avoiding it while people with this attitude are working here. A disgraceful way to represent such a beautiful city.

10/08/2026: I strongly advise against this establishment. The experience was extremely disappointing due to a complete lack of professionalism and inappropriate customer service. The manager completely disregards customer needs and demonstrates no responsiveness or professional approach during service. He simply does as he pleases, ignoring requests and comments. This behavior is a blatant disregard for the fundamental principles of customer service and business integrity. A huge disappointment. I recommend you look elsewhere for a better and more professional service.
