23/08/2026: Had a brilliant dinner. Food wsas as expected, house burger hit the spot and the chicken was delicious also. Drinks served, aperol and limoncello spritz were strong in flavour which was a welcome surprise. Would definitely recommend.

20/08/2026: I stopped by with friends for a few beers over three nights. The staff is friendly and helpful. And most importantly, they speak English fluently. The atmosphere and service are top-notch. I can't comment on the food, as we never ordered anything.

15/08/2026: An excellent bakery! The place is always very clean, the staff is professional and welcoming. The products are of very good quality and the prices are reasonable. I am always very satisfied. I highly recommend it!

26/07/2026: I went to the bakery to buy pastries for my family and myself, only to find that half of them stayed there even though I paid for them. I strongly advise against going to this awful bakery.

29/05/2026: We arrived at 6:18 PM to order a hot chocolate. To our surprise, the young employee responded very rudely, telling us she no longer made hot chocolates. However, the establishment displayed a closing time of 7:00 PM, so there were still more than 40 minutes left before closing time. Disappointed by the lack of professionalism.

18/08/2026: I have eaten in the restaurant as well as used the take away for well over 10 years when I’m in Nice. The food is very good but not cheap. Remember it’s situated right in the centre of Nice so it’s bound not to be cheaply priced. The staff are variable. Sometimes they are friendly but not so at other times. When I visited recently it felt as if it had changed hands but maybe the owner was on leave.

01/03/2026: A very unpleasant experience last night. I was waiting in line normally when two customers who arrived after me were served before me. When I politely pointed this out, the waitress responded curtly, claiming they were ahead of me, which is untrue. What's even more disturbing is that these customers thanked the waitress, saying "Thank you, Auntie," which clearly suggests they were acquaintances. If that's the case, it would be more honest to admit the favoritism rather than accuse the customers of lying. Instead of a simple exchange to clarify the situation, the tone escalated unnecessarily. A man in the queue became aggressive, even threatening to have me removed. Then a security guard intervened, speaking to me inappropriately. As a result, I was publicly insulted simply for pointing out an injustice in the order of service. Mistakes happen, but the lack of respect and aggressive handling of the situation are unacceptable. I am very disappointed by the staff's professionalism.

25/02/2026: Disgusting, undercooked bugnes, it's even worse since the change of name, the salad is absolutely good, very bad, never again.

03/03/2026: The presentation of the dishes was poor. One of the worst Asian takeout restaurants I've ever had. The food was tasteless and the cooking was atrocious. The woman was polite but completely insincere, as she had no expression on her face. She clearly dislikes her job, and cooking doesn't seem to be her strong suit either. She pressured us to choose our dishes and drinks even though the restaurant was empty.

13/05/2026: A wonderful boulangerie to pick up fresh pastries and try something delicious! I shopped here for several days during my trip to Nice and honestly wanted to try everything they had. The service was incredibly kind. All the best!

24/08/2026: We ate at this buffet a few days ago with our family and friends. There were 12 of us, and we were warmly welcomed and very well looked after by the staff. The setting is truly pleasant, clean, and inviting. The staff were friendly, attentive, and professional. We all had a wonderful time together and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere. A truly great experience with family and friends. We will definitely return and highly recommend this place!

22/08/2026: A buffet with excellent value for money

14/08/2026: I ordered duck in confit. The order arrived quickly. The mashed potatoes were cold, and the duck was tough. I simply had nothing to compare it to, and the check took a long time to arrive. Apparently, I chose a very touristy place where they don't pay much attention to the quality of the food and service.

14/08/2026: Such a shame... we arrived here without (unfortunately) reading the reviews. Everything went well, nice setting, quality of the drinks was fine... okay, there was a young waiter who missed regularly, but everyone has to learn their trade, so that didn't bother us at all. Beautiful interior, admittedly a discussion between some staff members when we went to the toilet, but we weren't bothered by that either. On the contrary, as a family, we planned to return together for dinner. Unfortunately, the truth came out when settling the bill. A surly waiter suddenly added 20 percent to the final bill, of which we didn't receive any details by the way: just a much too high amount on the card machine. Only then did we read the reviews to see if we were the only ones... apparently not. It's a pity, because this place would do just fine without this scam. Although this is mentioned multiple times in the reviews, this practice clearly continues among some tourists... bad faith, in other words.... We went to eat somewhere else in the evening and were treated very correctly. No more Café de France for us!

29/08/2026: Zero service, zero language, zero behavior, zero waitress at the counter, short of stature. On 08/29/2026 at 2:40 PM, I ordered a cake and a short coffee. She gave me a long coffee. I asked again, please, I wanted a short coffee. She, what, spoke rudely? She took the cup from the long coffee to throw in the sink and started talking amongst herself. I clearly heard what an idiot she was saying that it was my choice from the very beginning. So, thank you very much for welcoming customers.

25/08/2026: Hygiene is a disaster! Look at the audacity of offering completely burnt pastries! You really have to be kidding me.

11/06/2026: I like the value for money at this chain. The major drawback is that classic sandwiches like a ham and butter baguette aren't ready at 8:30 am. (Only the more elaborate or hot savory items are available.) It's a shame; I'd like to be able to grab my sandwich on my way to work.

27/05/2026: I went into the Marie Blachère bakery at 12:40 PM. I was just browsing to buy some sandwiches when I heard an elderly woman with glasses yelling at an old man, "WE CAN'T UNDERSTAND A THING YOU'RE SAYING!" as she slammed a coffee cup down on the counter. He asked for sugar, and she replied, "It's right here!" while maintaining her tone. There were at least ten people in the bakery, and that's how you talk to customers?! I'm a sales assistant myself, and if I did that, I'd be reprimanded immediately. Anyway, I left right away and went to another bakery.

24/10/2025: €5 or €7 pizza, take your pick!! I simply urge you to avoid this place. Pizza undercooked in the center and burnt on the outside. You'll end up with a bad case of diarrhea. I wonder how this joint is still standing.

04/10/2025: I was traveling to Nice from China and this was the best Neapolitan pizza I've ever had, well worth the money!
