28/05/2024: My wife and I stayed at Chateau Saint Martin for 5 nights with both of our adult daughters, one son-in-law and one grandson. our other son in law was unable to make the trip bc he plays in the NFL and they had camp. We had one regular room in the main hotel and a 2BR villa on the hillside. We had a wonderful time. The staff is fabulous. Our house manager/butlers were Alex and Max (they alternated). The service by these two guys was beyond believable. They organized all of our transportation(including helicopter to and from the hotel to the F1 race in Monte Carlo), all dinners, as well as helping my older daughter with her 4month old baby, who she was breastfeeding. She had a lot of stuff and Max and Alex took the extremely well care of her. The views from the balcony of our villa were amazing. We could see all the way down the valley to Nice and to the Mediterranean. We highly recommend this property and hope we are able to make plans for another visit very soon.

25/05/2024: Went here for lunch and dinner on seperate days. Stunning restaurant and menu. Had the set menu, Saint Martin, and a La carte. Food was sublime, fantastic fresh produce. Only slight miss was the dessert. Very worth the trip. Staff were fantastic. Special shout out to Maxim who made the night wonderful, he is a credit to the establishment.

15/08/2024: Please note credit card not accepted. No room, take away or delivery. Very good wood-fired pizza and friendly staff. Tried the Vencoise with wild mushrooms, very good and generous. Good value for money.

08/09/2024: Nice looking place. Lots of smiles as we entered. It is small so booking is a good idea. There was only one waitress so service was slow. She missed a trick by not giving us menus to peruse while we waited. Finally we went and found the menus and wine list , and took them for the whole table. The menu is small so we expect we each dish to be great. It was OK but not special. Potatoes were bitter and unpleasant but no apology given. Coffee was disappointing. Cappuccino not available as they didn't know how to prepare it. £214 for 6 people (2 courses) for an ok meal. Somehow it didn't meet expectations.

02/09/2024: Après un accueil très chaleureux d'Anne, nous avons passé une belle soirée dans ce petit resto avec vue sur les Baous. Pauline nous a concocté un Aperol parfaitement dosé. Notre plat : Filets de Bar, fenouil et lamelles de courgettes : délicieux. Et le tiramisu " maison " léger et goûteux. Tout était réuni pour satisfaire vos papilles.

24/08/2024: Good location but couldn't pay by card and when I gave cash I was short changed. As a previous reviewer says: "arrogant".

17/12/2024: I stayed here in July of 2024 for only one night. I emailed the hotel letting them know I would arrive at midnight and they responded promptly, letting me know they would be there to accommodate me. I had a monthly airbnb for over 6 weeks so I only needed a place for a night. The airbnb ended up being a total nightmare and I had to move to another place but I always went to Mas de Vence to work as I was traveling and working on a different time zone. The family was amazing and so was the staff. They expected me everyday and never charged me for the wifi usage although I was no longer staying at the hotel. They served me water while I took my meetings without me asking and told me I could use the pool free of charge. This family and even the guests are just so kind and caring, it was a breath of fresh air. Merci et Merci encore pour votre hospitalité. Je suis la dame de Californie qui parle l'italian aussi. Desolé pour ce review tardive.

27/09/2024: The value for money is not good at all. Very small portions. The duck breast was not a treat for the palate. The fish platter wasn't very good either. The food wasn't bad but nothing extraordinary either. I wouldn't eat there again. The service was nothing special either

22/09/2024: Disappointed by this first experience, fish good but lukewarm. Beef that was undercooked, only the dessert was appreciated, we will not repeat the experience

04/11/2024: A restaurant in a very beautiful location, in Beget, a beautiful town in Alta Garrotxa. The food was correct, they have delicious sausages. The rest of the dishes, rabbit and lamb, were quite good. The Catalan cream could improve, the coffee and Baileys flan, quite successful.

03/11/2024: The restaurant offers a €27 all-inclusive menu which is very good. Lots of variety of dishes. They also offer it on weekends. You can bring your dog since they have a very nice terrace and you can eat there in a very calm atmosphere. It's worth it. We will repeat for sure!

14/04/2024: I've had kebabs, tacos and other burgers delivered almost every evening since February, not only is it very, very good and made from the heart, but the team is very friendly and I feel like I'm part of the family. I recommend 300/100 Gasp.

15/09/2024: Hello hello We had two pizzas this lunchtime One merguez and one seafood Just inedible both I told the waitress who was very friendly..... no commercial gesture.... I strongly advise against.. .

19/09/2024: Delighted to have bought a caquellin, my mouth was watering and especially to let my friends taste it, until I opened it to eat it 👍 to cut it out of the brick already 💪the taste very dry I don't know when this cracker dates from but it wasn't fresh at all 🤮 at the price it cost it ended up in the trash disgusting leak I wouldn't go back there again

06/09/2024: We ate the crepe after dinner. Outdoor table in this truly characteristic village. Non-existent service. Unclean tables. They forgot an ingredient on my plate, but it was immediately remedied. The crepe deserved the €9 spent: the dough was excellent. Promoted!
