10/12/2025: It's a disgrace. I ordered three aloko dishes through the Uber Eats app. And what I get is three empty containers delivered; it could easily have all fit in one. Honestly, it's a joke.

08/06/2025: What a pleasure! First visit on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 12:15 p.m. Discovered thanks to a (so-called) discount company, which allows you to cut through the mass of offerings. Excellent meats, amusing presentation of meat swords, and a very generous and very, very varied dessert in small, succulent portions. Only minor downside: the wine wasn't opened in front of us! 28 euros for a bottle of F****** that arrived open...maybe I shouldn't have said I didn't know anything about it, but my sweetheart did. Super friendly and welcoming bartender too. I ran into the chef, even more in keeping with the restaurant's Pirates decor, and he too was very polite and friendly. According to conversations, many locals seem to revisit this establishment, which probably speaks volumes about its consistency and consistent quality. I want to come back. Sally and Pierre PS: finally, a reasonably priced (2 euros) and very, very good coffee.

31/08/2024: I was craving Brazilian cuisine for a while and I came across this restaurant by accident when we were in Lille. This is the most authentic Brazilian restaurant I came across. The chicken dish in coconut milk and the beans were so delicious. You can also customise your dish. No need to follow what’s in the menu if you know the traditional Brazilian cuisine. I love Brazilian dish as they are very close to Indian cuisine. Must recommended if you’re in Lille.

23/08/2024: While passing through Lille, we happily discovered Chiquita Bacana. Meal for 4 on the back terrace. Very pretty decorations, and especially a excellent cuisine, we enjoyed ourselves! Dishes like in Brazil that we know! We would also like to acknowledge the very warm welcome and the exchanges which allowed us to talk about this beautiful country. We recommend +++.

03/07/2025: I discovered this restaurant during a meal where there were 10 of us, it's really excellent! I had never eaten meat served on a skewer like that, the meat was really good. I found side dishes that I had discovered in Rio. The welcome was really good, we will come back for sure.

17/11/2024: We went to this little half-Congolese, half-Caribbean restaurant and we loved it. We had dinner for two in the downstairs room, good atmosphere, not too many people, very smiling and very kind waitress, the chef came to say hello at the end of the meal, it was very friendly. We enjoyed the discovery meal for €28, full of delicious little dishes. Just a little regret is that we can't wait to come back. I recommend it to anyone who wants to discover excellent quality African cuisine, plus everything is homemade apart from the ice cream which is still delicious.

18/01/2025: Very nice welcome! A cuisine full of flavors and spices with fresh produce, with a choice of cocktails and rum to suit all tastes We tasted the discovery menu and were able to take a complete tour of the menu, I highly recommend for a romantic dinner or an outing with friends

15/01/2025: The manager is very friendly and caring, and he knows how to create a warm atmosphere. The meals are delicious and plentiful. It is an excellent restaurant that will introduce you to Haiti and its culture.

20/01/2025: After reading the reviews, I made the trip and I am disappointed, very fatty meat, it is not interesting to offer around fifteen meats if for the first 6, it is of poor quality it becomes sickening! For the buffet, it's simple, not homemade too bad, but understandable so it will be a 3 out of 5 and I don't think I'll come back. Best wishes
