23/08/2026: We were lucky to walk past this restaurant on our first night in Bordeaux and they had space for us inside. We ordered tomato and buffalo mozzarella salad and the Onglet steak. All of the food was excellent but the steak was exceptional. Highly recommend.

13/09/2026: Staying in Paris for a few days, I was looking for a Caribbean restaurant and stumbled upon this one while searching online. I decided to give it a try based on the positive reviews. There were four of us girls, a family, and we were pleasantly surprised from the appetizer to the dessert. We would have loved to try a bokit, but they explained why they didn't offer them in the evening. A small digestif was offered before we left. The welcome was warm, the dinner was excellent, and all four of us thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and had a wonderful time. We'll be back!

21/08/2026: Les Bartavelles in Nîmes is an absolute delight! I visited this charming little gluten-free restaurant in August 2026 and was delighted with my meal there. I ordered the Romana pizza, and I have to admit, it was the best pizza I've ever had anywhere – the dough and ingredients were perfect! For dessert, I opted for a bowl of vanilla ice cream with chestnut cream and whipped cream, which proved to be the perfect ending to the meal. Everything was freshly prepared and simply delicious. Another highlight of this place is the service. The women working there have a great sense of humor, are incredibly friendly, and create a great atmosphere. If you're looking for safe, gluten-free food of the highest quality, this place in Nîmes is a must-try. I highly recommend it!

13/08/2026: While in Nîmes, we discovered this place thanks to the Glutenlibre website… and what a wonderful find! The restaurant doesn't necessarily look like much from the outside, but as soon as you step inside, you're given a wonderfully warm welcome and pampered. You simply feel right at home. ❤️ The chef and her friend are lovely, and the food is absolutely delicious! This place is 100% gluten-free: everything here is gluten-free, with a truly impressive selection on the menu. What a joy to be able to eat with peace of mind and enjoy a delicious meal! Thank you again for such a warm welcome. We won't hesitate to come back on our next trip to Nîmes!

29/07/2026: It's a shame the fried fish isn't on the menu anymore; it was excellent when I came a few years ago. This time I didn't enjoy the dishes as much; they were too curried and coconut-based. The accras, however, were a real treat. Overall, a good atmosphere.

However, regarding the food, where we were a party of seven celebrating two birthdays, they added beer and wine... would it be possible to have a friendly waiter? This isn't the first time... last time it was borderline, but this time he was incredibly unpleasant. If he doesn't want to work in the service industry, he should find another job, but the customers shouldn't suffer. (No, it's not up to us to refer to the menu when we ask you a question with your disdainful attitude, when you bring us our plates despite your rudimentary manner of speaking—let's guess what's on our plates!) Otherwise, apart from this minor issue, the dishes were perfectly presented and very good. See you soon. And thank you.

25/04/2026: Excellent establishment, very good meats cooked perfectly; my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal. A generous and welcoming restaurant, I highly recommend it, we'll be back. The only thing is, some light background music would have been a nice touch.
