25/05/2024: Visited for evening dinner last week when passing through on a Peak Tours cycling trip. Sat outside as inside too full. Party of 9 looked after well and food was first class, good value too.
24/05/2024: Top lunch service. The gratins are excellent. So we came back in the evening. Cuisine with fresh, local, quality products, a treat. The welcome is friendly and professional, exchanges, advice and a smile. I highly recommend.

24/11/2023: A great discovery during our vacation. The dishes are creative, colorful and delicious. Wide selection of wine (don't hesitate to let yourself be guided by the manager). We will come back without hesitation

We took pleasure in discovering each dish,
We were surprised by the tastes, the textures, the combinations of flavors,
We were advised with pleasure and passion by someone who is passionate about the drinks he offers,
We were served with simplicity by the ladies in the kitchen.
We feel good at La Récré and we regret being ch'ti and not being able to go there more often!

09/09/2023: Very nice discovery!!!! Great welcome from our arrival by the managers... great welcome from the employees (reception desk. Bar. Restaurant) even at the end of the season. Very beautiful, well-equipped campsite with pétanque boules pitches available... beautiful swimming pool with children's pool 👍 very beautiful mobile home even better than in the photo (last mobile installed in the campsite) we had a very nice week and I recommend it restaurant don't look elsewhere it's a treat!! For the taste buds (beef skewer, pizza, generous mixed salad, unprepared tartare) meat is excellent, finally it is an address to try 😋 and to keep we will come back 😊

26/08/2023: Very pleasant family campsite but far too many dogs present accompanied by the incivility of the owners! The regulations require that they be kept on a leash and that their droppings be picked up. This is not necessarily the case all the way to the edge of the river!
As for the restaurant's pizzas, the price has not increased but the toppings have been reduced, which leaves a large crust around it that is difficult to eat due to its cardboard effect.

Choix sur la carte restreint = gage de qualité. La cuisine y est goûteuse et gourmande. J'ai mangé les gnocchis à la pomme de terre les plus moelleux de ma vie.
Le service a été réalisé en famille durant le week-end de l'ascension. Ils ont assuré. Tout le staff est sympathique dans ce restaurant, y compris la cuisine.
Et n'oublions pas l'environnement du restaurant : une superbe batisse avec salle voûtée et murs en pierres. Même pour aller aux WC, vous enprumterez un magnifique escalier en colimaçon.
Je vous le recommande vivement.
13/05/2024: Retour aux Vans et retour au Grangousier. Toujours cette superbe salle voutée et cette agréable terrasse au cœur de la ville, tout à la fois centrale et à l’écart du bruit. En ce 7 mai capricieux, je me réconforte avec un terre-mer : carpaccio de poulpe pour commencer, suivi d’une viande à partager (nous sommes deux). Côte de cochon ou côte de bœuf Angus ? Le bœuf l’emporte. Fraîcheur d’un poulpe à la chair ferme et à la douce odeur iodée, saveur et tendreté d’une viande d’excellente qualité : la promesse est tenue, simple et directe : de bons produits dans un bel écrin.

26/05/2024: At first I thought it would be nice as the menu is not 3 pages long. However it was disappointing, the quality wasn’t there. I had a ribeye steak that came overcooked to my liking and hard to chew. My friend took a dessert and they call it homemade but I’m sure Tesco crumble is better than that. No crisp and microwaved.
Perhaps best to pick the menu du jour.
The staff seems friendly but turned out they are quiet rude if you start expressing your feedback.
All other places were packed and we know now why they were the only one with spaces, it’s practical due to the shops around but that’s about it
