01/07/2026: A superb, air-conditioned vaulted dining room—a real plus during this heatwave. The meal was excellent, with quality ingredients and very generous portions. The staff was very pleasant. Special mention goes to the waitress who presented the daily specials, explaining each dish in detail...bravo! In short, we had a wonderful time; don't hesitate to visit this establishment.

Domaine de la Jeanne

22/04/2026: Domaine de la Jeanne is a magical, magnificent, and exceptional place where my family and I spent a few days.
The cottages are modern and welcoming, and we had a wonderful time, both children and adults.
The welcome from Sandrine and Xavier was truly warm, and the meals were excellent, made with local produce.
All this in a stunning natural setting and a region with so much to see and do 👍.

The welcome was warm and friendly. The hosts went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant time.
The meals were delicious and very generous, and the accommodations were comfortable and well-designed. As an added bonus, they sold locally made products (fruit juice, terrines, olive oil, etc.).

06/07/2026: We don't often find ourselves amazed by things that are easy. La Feuille de Chou is THE gastronomic gem of Les Vans. The cuisine is both simple and sophisticated. The flavors of the Cévennes region are present in every dish. I started with the meatloaf and the Provençal vegetable caviar, before finally succumbing to a chestnut fondant.
I managed to get the fondant recipe out of me after some coaxing. I'm selling it to the highest bidder.
06/07/2026: The staff was very pleasant. The welcome and food were excellent. The dining room is lovely, well-decorated, and the air conditioning is just right.
I highly recommend it.

30/06/2026: Who would have imagined that such a culinary gem could be found in the charming village of Les Vans? A warm welcome and stylish service without being pretentious. Perfect advice on wine selection, after we shared our preferences.
Others, better than I, have already praised the presentation and inventiveness of each dish, with that unexpected touch that makes you say: this is a truly great chef.

18/05/2026: The service was adequate for two drinks; the bartender recommended some local beers which turned out to be very enjoyable. The view from the front overlooks a building and the roadside, but this doesn't detract from the experience.
06/05/2026: My favorite cafe in Les Vans, and there are many. Also, the restaurant (only open for lunch) is very good, traditional cuisine but well prepared.

A very rare thing in a restaurant, and truly wonderful, was that there was no children's menu; the children ate like the adults, albeit in smaller portions.
We had a lovely time, the food was excellent, and the setting was fantastic.
28/06/2026: A superb discovery of magnificent and authentic cuisine with top-notch and very welcoming service. Furthermore, the wines are very well chosen.

02/05/2026: If you're passing through Les Naves, stop at La Sardine sous la vigne. The chestnut cake and its hay ice cream are simply delicious. The terrace is charming and the welcome very friendly.

Nous y avons très bien mangé (le Burger pour monsieur et le poisson pour moi, ainsi que le café gourmand), le décor à l'intérieur et l'ambiance y sont super. Et toute l'équipe est vraiment très souriante. Nous y avons passé un très bon moment et y reviendrons

27/07/2024: tandis que les Vans grouillent de monde, on se sent hors du temps au Carmel, bien reçu sans fioriture mais sans mauvaise surprise. bonne continuation aux propriétaires qui entretiennent hôtel et restaurant avec un cachet historique indéniable.
26/07/2024: Restaurant très sympa. Super cadre avec une grande terrasse. Service de qualité. Bonne cuisine, raffinée, originale. Bon vin.
