01/04/2026: I had lunch at Phan’x in Cluses. Overall, it was good: the shrimp fritters and shrimp udon were excellent, and you can tell the dishes are made to order. There's a bit of a wait, but in this case, it's not a problem; quite the opposite. The atmosphere is pleasant. The gentleman is very welcoming, while the lady is considerably less so, which makes the service somewhat inconsistent. The real downside is the price of the shrimp fritters: they were tasty, but frankly too expensive for just three small tempura. It's a shame, because it leaves a mixed impression, even though the rest is quite satisfactory.

The atmosphere is very simple and intimate. I highly recommend it; go without hesitation for a great time away from the crowds of trendy, social media hotspots.
