03/08/2024: It was an extremely hot day. So everything on the menu was cold. We think this might have affected the quality of the food so I don't want to be too negative but the dishes were really hot or miss. Some dishes weren't cooked well or the presentation was off. Maybe it was an off day for the kitchen since it was about 35°C/95°F. I would maybe go back on a cooler day. The atmosphere of the back garden was really serene and the staff was very friendly and service was good. Just seems like the kitchen had an off day.

10/09/2024: We spent one night with a gourmet dinner “Discovery Menu”. On the hotel side, the Provençal bastide is simply magnificent. It feels like a setting worthy of Marcel Pagnol! The garden, the swimming pool and the orange grove bring an undeniable character. The decor of the rooms is a little dated but at the same time, it goes with the setting. Very good quality XXL bedding. We just regretted the soundproofing of the suite (noise from the corridor, music from the restaurant below, dog barking in the morning). The breakfast is good and plentiful, the waiters are attentive. As for the restaurant, we have a mixed opinion. Everything is certainly very good 👍 but there is a lack of risk-taking in the associations. On the other hand, I loved the revisited rum baba. We love the decoration and tableware from a local designer. But the room lacks privacy... We had a very noisy table of 8 people (+ a dog) next to us, which is a shame. That evening, the service was not up to par in a 1* restaurant: presentation of the dishes was haphazard, there was no sommelier and therefore it was impossible to pair food and wine!! The chef didn't even come to introduce himself at the end of the meal. Finally, I'm disappointed because it was a gift for my partner's birthday and they forgot the candle for dessert (although we had validated it by email). It's a shame because the setting is fantastic...

07/07/2024: For a ceremony order eggplant caviars and hummus in different trays, order placed 1 week before. The day I had a water shortage in the town. In this difficult and complicated context since an order was planned that day, the entire team of this restaurant mobilized to respond to the order. With a certain level of palpable stress, commensurate with the seriousness and professionalism of the chef and the team. The objective was easily achieved and we left with our 3 kg of mezzes in the afternoon instead of at noon. The products were excellent. To recommend

21/06/2024: I ordered takeout. Really very good, plentiful and reasonably priced, I highly recommend!

23/09/2024: Van Gogh Cafe was closed, so I went to the cafe next door and ordered salad, pizza, and carbonara. It was really delicious and the staff were very friendly.

22/09/2024: If the small place and the good reviews on Google had attracted us, we would have been better off moving on. A not very friendly waiter, who throws the menu on the table, curt and not happy to be present and a multitude of dishes which ultimately were only very average (the pizza in particular). On the positive side, the dish of the day was very good and the other servers were much nicer than the one who took our order.

10/12/2024: We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with family and friends and all our guests found the location, welcome, meal and entertainment perfect. We also highly recommend this establishment.

27/10/2024: We got married here on 9/14/2019 and we just celebrated my parents-in-law's golden wedding anniversary on 10/26/24. Always so delighted with the way we received and served us, the dishes offered and the decoration refined down to the smallest detail. An efficient, smiling and attentive service!!! Thank you again and see you soon for future receptions 😉

26/08/2024: Unpretentious restaurant that gives what it offers, tasty food, adequate price and sufficient quantity. quite a discovery.

02/08/2024: Menu at 20eu starter/main course/dessert at lunchtime. Appetizer buffet pretty good, but the rest is inedible, raw chicken skewer, steak with a burnt taste from the bottom of the pan not cleaned, vegetables bathed in fat, probably a flow problem. The waiter is convinced that he is a great comedian but does not hear when someone calls him.

06/09/2024: A real delight, everything is fresh and above all tasty. The service is also very fast and the staff are top notch. What more could you ask for...
