I would have given it 5 stars if the restroom doors had been clean (around the handles and on the door itself). It's a small detail, but important to me and easy to fix! Thank you for this lovely experience 😊 Returned in May 2025: everything is still just as good, and the welcome is very warm. The price of the set menu has, of course, increased, like everything else, but it remains very reasonable and still excellent 👍 Thank you for this delicious interlude and the top-notch welcome and service 👏🙏

30/09/2025: When we were told we could use the UP lunch card at the entrance, I was supposed to be able to pay with it. However, when the bill arrived, it was impossible to pay with the lunch card, neither with my card nor my wife's. To claim they were accepting the card but then not actually accept it upon arrival seems dishonest to me. (The card hadn't been used before, so a €25 charge was possible, and it was a Thursday!) It made for a poor customer experience.

16/04/2026: Sunday brunch in a beautifully situated gastronomic restaurant. An incredible selection of healthy dishes, both sweet and salted, cold cuts, a bountiful bouquet of seafood, all in a beautiful setting.

29/03/2026: A wonderful experience. The meal was perfect, as was the room, with the added bonus of being upgraded. We'd love to come back in warmer weather to enjoy the garden.

13/04/2026: We ordered a cappuccino, and it was terrible. It was very runny, almost like skimmed milk when it should have been whole milk. You couldn't taste either the milk or the coffee. I was very disappointed; it tasted like water.

A charming place with a truly unique atmosphere that makes you feel like you're experiencing a special moment, almost outside of time. The ambiance is warm, friendly, and authentic, ideal for a wonderful evening with friends or simply enjoying the setting. You immediately feel at ease, carried away by the energy of the place and the beauty of the surroundings of the Old Port. A real gem, both for the pub's spirit and the quality of the time spent there. I will gladly return and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a lively, pleasant, and memorable spot in Marseille.

14/04/2026: The Lion Rouge, once such an iconic Marseille nightlife spot on the seafront, is becoming a shadow of its former self. There was a time when this establishment was truly a place of vibrant, unpretentious life; now, unfortunately, it's descending into utter flinkéfitchism. Indeed, paying a hefty sum to sip a glass of spirits from a plastic container seems highly excessive and terribly lacking in any real "barjack" vibe. You're charging nightclub prices. Speaking of which, when are you going to ban drinking on the low wall in front of your establishment?
