13/09/2026: During a weekend in Besançon, we discovered this bistronomic restaurant serving dishes with truly original flavors and expertly prepared. So much so that, despite not being particularly fond of sweets, we couldn't resist trying the desserts, which were also quite surprising. The service is attentive, and the setting is chic and refined. A great find in the heart of Besançon.

06/09/2026: Ordered via Uber Eats. Fast delivery, but very disappointed by the quality of the meat. It felt like eating rubber, like frozen meat. A tasteless kebab.

06/10/2026: Every two years we come to Besançon for business and eat at these people's at least once. If you arrive at 6:30 PM you think you are alone, but by 7:00 PM it is completely full. The young waitress does a great job serving everyone with a big smile and even has some great advice. The dishes are super fresh and tasty!

01/10/2026: What a pleasant surprise! Passing through for the Micronora trade show, I had dinner at Etna with some clients. There were five of us, and the service was excellent. The waitresses were smiling, friendly, and professional. The homemade pizzas were fantastic (a special mention for the Napoli), the meat dishes were great too, and the homemade desserts were superb—a very good panna cotta and a tiramisu to die for. And all this at very reasonable prices. It's the place to be in Besançon. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

18/09/2026: A very nice self-service restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. The dishes are advertised as entirely vegetarian. However, some of the cheeses in the dishes contain rennet and are therefore not vegetarian.

06/09/2026: Very disappointed. The charcuterie was of poor quality and very insignificant; the fondue was good but very small for 4 people. There were very few options on the menu; we won't be returning.

04/05/2026: After the fourth rib steak, the cut deteriorated significantly, with a huge bone visible on the third and fourth occasions. I must also mention the disgusting frozen matchstick fries. Homemade fries are much better elsewhere. Beware of the takeaway pizzas; they infuriated me. My neighbor had one at his table that was supposed to be a pizza, but it was very wobbly in the box. When I opened it, I found a pizza barely bigger than a dessert plate. I felt insulted, and despite having paid for it, I angrily abandoned it on a high chair. They shamelessly rip you off. I advise everyone against going to L'Olivier. Go somewhere else, even to the neighbor's place, which is renowned for its pizzas. L'Olivier is absolutely to be avoided.

23/08/2026: What can I say when it gets all those stars? Try it; it's the only way to understand and appreciate it. Perhaps the best meat I've eaten here in France (I've been in France for three months). The staff is kind and professional.
