The service is attentive and the atmosphere warm, which makes the experience even more pleasant. The authentic flavors of the dishes take us directly to Portugal. An address to recommend without hesitation for lovers of generous and tasty cuisine.

08/09/2024: A very serious house!!! Friendly service Tasty cuisine, bravo for the duck breast. One detail, the music is a little loud. 7 months later, I confirm: excellent house, we are now regulars.

24/07/2024: Very good dish, Turkish specialty. Rather a quick snack but a very good dish. Everything homemade and organic vegetables (flavor +++). The Turkish ravioli are very good, excellent service, very courteous, with a little care. Take the free boat shuttle to get to the city center (10 min walk). View of the following channels for certain tables.

21/07/2024: We went there during our vacation. The chicken is delicious as is the sauce and the fries are homemade!! The service is great, she is a pleasant and efficient young girl who takes care of the service, she makes you want to run this business!! Plus it’s very fast! I highly recommend !!

23/06/2024: Disappointing, arrived a little before noon, on vacation, passing through. We were treated to “we only start at noon, now we’re on break!” from the waitress, “we’re on break here” from the waiter, we heard it right the first time 😂 Ok, without smiling, in a tone... here in Vendée it's always welcoming 😃! We were made to wait in front of the entrance to the restaurant "Le Chalet". They could have seated us, waiting the few minutes until noon, or made us wait nicely. We left, a neighboring restaurant welcomed us very warmly and with a smile 😉

14/06/2024: It's changed a lot, it's a shame. The cuisine is not bad but the prices are expensive for what you find on the plates. Atmosphere, well we can't say since we were the only table.

18/06/2024: This campsite is truly a faded glory. The price/ratio to what you get is way too expensive. The sanitary facilities downstairs are old and we regularly had no light in the sanitary facilities at night. The handicapped shower doesn't look good. If someone wants to shower, he or she must shower on a garden chair. The toilet has no grab rails to hold you on. The mirror is much too high for someone in a wheelchair. I know what I'm talking about. The site showed concrete edging at the site and a metal pipe in the back sticking out above it. The water taps that are there do not dispense water. The sanitary facilities are not kept clean and the mirrors are not clean. The toilets do not have a toilet seat and are very low. You must be having trouble with your knee. We did not find the restaurant inviting as it looked. The only thing good was the warm water and the birds we heard. Our advice is: invest money in this campsite and renovate it. You cannot do this to camping guests and make them pay €30 per night. I also noticed that the tennis court is full of weeds. This is a campsite that we will never visit again and would not recommend to anyone.

18/06/2024: A terrible place to stay, the worst camping ground we have stayed in France. Unloved, unlevel and very stoney pitches. Poor noise control allowing campers to arrive to set up noisily at 12.30am! Poor customer care, noisy equipment in late afternoon, bathroom cleaning 8.30am for owner convenience not for clients. Poor value at 30 euros for basic camping of lower standard than most Municipal Camping sites. Do not recommend. In reply to owners claim 12.39am arrivals were supervised, this is not true and they made lots of noise car doors, loud voices and lots of coughing. Very poor to allow such inconsiderate late arrivals and disturbance to other guests. Our other comments stand.

19/09/2024: We stayed one night at the Hotel du Berange, we were on our birthday and the location of the place was ideal and we were disappointed. Hotel room for 4 people which smells musty, bedding which dates with a box spring and a stained mattress, the beds of one person so soft that they sink into them! The radiator in the room was on the verge of falling off the wall and the bathroom cabinet was broken and poorly maintained. During breakfast a dog did its business in the room and it was not picked up but newspaper was placed on it to absorb it. For a room at 70€ I wasn't expecting great luxury but I will never go back there.
