19/07/2026: This restaurant has a very warm atmosphere, even if the access, located on the roadside with a small parking lot, isn't the most convenient. However, the welcome is excellent: the service is quick and always accompanied by a smile. The menu showcases Savoyard specialties, featuring quality local products. As for the desserts, I would have appreciated a bit more flair. The prices are reasonable for the region and the prime lakeside location, but you have to know what you want in terms of lakeside location and view. In short, we had a very pleasant time.

12/04/2026: Quite expensive. They fall short quite a bit in terms of efficiency and quality. They claim a high label, but the breakfast is rather simple; sometimes no yogurt is available... Maybe this is because it was the end of the season, but when charging such high prices, one should expect higher quality. The evening meals, however, were very well prepared. The staff comes across as stressed, which sometimes translates into unfriendliness.

The food they offer is simply world-class, and their service is second to none. We wholeheartedly recommend it, and you should definitely spend at least one evening at Hors Piste on every visit to Les Sybelles! Thank you so much for this incredibly wonderful evening! 03/04/2026: I was quite cautious when booking the refuge because various reviews had been mixed. But it turns out the owner has changed, and the quality and hospitality are back! We had absolutely no complaints, quite the opposite! Just one thing to keep in mind: it's not a typical "CAF" (French Alpine Club) refuge, but rather a hostel-style refuge. So you pay more, but the quality is also superior (showers, pool table, rooms, etc.).

29/03/2026: We stayed at the Refuge du Roc with a group of 12 plus 2 guides for a star-shaped ski touring trip. The refuge was a perfect base camp! The climb from Pralognan is a good warm-up but quite accessible to all levels of skiers. The refuge is perfectly equipped, notably with a games room (pool table, darts, video projector), a sauna, and a Nordic bath, which make après-ski very enjoyable! The cook was super friendly, the service impeccable, and the meals delicious.
