04/07/2026: We had a wonderful stay at Matthieu's. He is a very welcoming host, always available and attentive to his guests' well-being. The accommodation is tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable.
The surroundings are a true haven of peace: quiet, surrounded by nature, with a magnificent view that invites relaxation. After a beautiful day of hiking, what a joy it was to unwind in the spa! A real bonus that made the stay even more enjoyable.
We highly recommend this rental and will gladly return.
27/05/2026: We spent a few days together in the Chamatte house, rented by Mathieu.
The house is very well suited for two people, well-equipped, and spotless.
Mathieu is very helpful and pleasant.
The village of La Baume is very quiet and a starting point for several hikes. A very enjoyable stay.

12/05/2026: In the small village of Thoard, eight of us friends stopped by this weekend. We were charmed by the unique bar-restaurant "La Beluguette." Marie, the owner and cook, presented us with her dishes, prepared with passion and, what's more, with local products. It was excellent! We had a fabulous time with Marie and appreciated her friendliness and sense of humor. Our husbands relived their youth for a little while thanks to the foosball table in the bar. Don't hesitate to stop by this unique place; you won't be disappointed!

04/06/2026: My partner and I came for a drink and a delicious meal! The "Love to Love" cocktail was divine, and the Thai-style chicken with zucchini blossoms, ricotta, and mascarpone was also delicious. The profiteroles were excellent too. A truly great place! Have a wonderful season!
23/05/2026: A pleasant bar/restaurant with appealing decor and menu. The starter and main courses were very good, but unfortunately, the experience was somewhat marred by a dessert that fell far short of the rest and an unpleasant waiter.
In short: a nice but mixed experience, especially considering the prices.

05/07/2026: Wandering through the narrow streets of old Limoux, we were pleasantly surprised by what this restaurant/bar had to offer: delicious, reimagined bruschetta and excellent homemade fries! Honestly, it's original and a welcome change from the usual tapas and their monotony.
The price is more than reasonable for such a treat, and the staff are always smiling. A great place not to be missed!

13/03/2026: We booked for the evening, and the experience began with a ride up in a snow groomer under a magnificent starry sky—already a magical moment. Upon arrival, we received a very warm welcome with a plate of appetizers and a glass of raspberry prosecco.
Then, we enjoyed an excellent raclette, followed by a homemade dessert and a small glass of génépi liqueur to finish the meal. The return trip in the snow groomer was the perfect ending to this timeless evening. Excellent evening, warm welcome, and delicious meal. I highly recommend it!
03/03/2026: Because in life you always need a goal, for me (on snowshoes) and Madonna (on foot) it's the Pegueiou and its sausage! Because after the effort comes the reward with a team that takes such good care of you. Thank you all and we'll be back on Thursday!

10/10/2025: What a great time with delicious and original tapas, and a good Ventoux! And a welcome that is always so welcoming 😊.
06/09/2025: Do not eat here if you are hungry. The food quality is okay, but the portions are tiny. You will need a long sit if you plan to fill your stomach, since you can't order more than two tapas per person each time. The owners also seemed more interested in each others company than with the guests. Maybe it is a good place to drink, we did not try any alcoholic beverages, but for a good dinner, I would go somewhere else.
Reaction to the owners reply: we know tapas are supposed to be small, but normally they are not this tiny. In Spain, a country where they know how to make tapas, portions are significantly larger. After the first round of tapas we concluded that, with these portions, our stomachs were not going to be filled no matter how long we would spend here. So we went elsewhere for a proper meal.
