04/10/2026: It was absolutely FANTASTIC!!! The atmosphere, the service, the food!!! I booked it for my birthday. We discovered an exceptional restaurant: the warm and original decor immediately put us at ease; we felt right at home. The service was excellent: the three servers were very friendly. The food was delicious, with a special mention for the beef bourguignon! A delight! All the other dishes were also very good. The meringue pie at this restaurant, which I had seen a review of online, is truly exquisite. All the other desserts were also enjoyed by all my guests! And at the end, the restaurant owner, Michel, who is friendly and charming, gave us a wonderful surprise: a fun little performance that I'll let you discover if you have the opportunity to celebrate your birthday there. It's the perfect place to have a great time with friends! Thank you so much to all the staff at this restaurant; thanks to you, my birthday was a real success!

13/09/2026: The staff were friendly, but the food was disappointing. The swordfish and duck were far too overcooked (despite requesting it rare, even for someone who likes it well-done, it was too much). The porcini mushroom sauce was watery with a faint mushroom flavor. It's a real shame because the menu is quite appealing. That said, the gratin dauphinois was very good.

18/10/2026: It's impossible to give zero stars on Google Maps. I hope that will change someday. The Black Stone is a hangout for bourgeois types from the 16th arrondissement of Paris who gather amongst themselves. So far, nothing problematic. People go where they want. However, the prices are also typical of restaurants in the 16th arrondissement. Yet, the Black Stone is located in the middle of nowhere, opposite a football pitch. How can they justify the exorbitant price of their pint of Guinness (€9.50)? To make matters worse, they only accept cards for purchases over €10.00. How strange! Ultimately, you have to pay €19.00 for two Guinnesses if you want to pay by card. It's simply outrageous. I said exactly the same thing about O'Brady's. But at the Black Stone, it's even more vicious. When I asked the waiter if the owner of the establishment was the same as the owner of O'Brady's, he curtly replied, "Not at all! Why?" Thanks for the warm welcome! I'll also mention the service. I ordered my beer directly at the bar, so I don't know if they offer table service, but I imagine they do. At the Black Stone, you don't even have time to finish your beer. The waiter snatches it from your hands before you've even finished it! What a complete lack of respect! He pretends to be running around and busy, even though there are several waiters and we were only 10 customers. On top of that, he's particularly unpleasant. When you speak to him, he runs off and mutters an incomprehensible reply under his breath. Typical of the bourgeois types from the 16th arrondissement who have no time for anything or anyone and who snub every human being they meet! Let's talk about the restrooms now. I simply wanted to use the restroom after finishing my beer. Not finding them, I politely asked the waiter where they were. To which he rudely replied: "The restrooms are for customers only. You have to have ordered a drink to use the restroom!" I must be dreaming! I ordered my beer from the same waiter 20 minutes earlier! In despair, I told him I had ordered a drink and offered to show him the receipt. Luckily, I had kept it! He replied (still aggressively): "No, it's fine..." I found the restrooms myself. As for marketing, the menus are AI-generated. Absolutely no creativity. I have rarely been treated as badly as at the Black Stone. I went there with a friend. When I left, I had spent €38.00 on four beers (of which I only drank two). An absolute scandal. Who else in Marseille charges such high prices? If you're a snobbish bourgeois living in the 16th arrondissement of Paris and you hate poverty and the poor in general, then Black Stone is for you!

The antipasti platter is generous and delicious, the pasta with scallops is divine, and the desserts are excellent. The waitress is super friendly, and the prices are very reasonable! Don't hesitate to go inside; the decor is worth seeing! I highly recommend it!

26/09/2026: A huge thank you to Cabanon de la Pointe Rouge for this wonderful time! The team is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they even kindly extended the Compass offer to us when it was normally unavailable. I highly recommend this place to enjoy its beautiful setting, fantastic atmosphere, and excellent food. Special mention for the smash burger, which is truly outstanding! Go without hesitation.

18/10/2026: As usual, I'm giving one star because I can't give zero. The place is very beautiful and richly decorated. However, the prices are outrageous. I've traveled to New York, Dublin, Brussels, Paris, Athens, Copenhagen, Warsaw, London, Madrid, Frankfurt, and Florence. I've never seen such expensive draft beers in my life. Even at the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin, the beer was cheaper! Here, it costs €9.50 for a pint (50cl). That's €1.50 more than in any bar in Marseille. And I quickly understood why: the bar doesn't accept credit cards for purchases under €10.00. Coincidentally, the price of the Guinness is barely €0.50 less than the required €10.00. And there's no way to negotiate down by €0.50! Total inflexibility! So you have to pay for a second Guinness to pay by credit card. The bottom line: you leave O'Brady's and you've spent €19.00 on two beers. For the same price, you could have a meal at a restaurant or four pints of lager at La Mûrisserie. Simply outrageous!

12/06/2026: We regularly go there for lunch and it's a real treat with the daily homemade dishes. Not only is the food excellent, but it's also a wine cellar with a wide selection. David, the owner, is very helpful. They also organize themed evenings, creating a great atmosphere! This restaurant/wine shop is a wonderful discovery that we highly recommend.
