09/09/2024: Terrible service - long wait for food, didn't bring water , didn't bring bread. Forgot to bring what we ask for. Mussels we great, but salad swimmed in oil ( terrible tasting oil). Waiter unpleasant

The dishes are very well prepared and tasty and the team is careful to ensure that there is no shortage of fresh water or bread. The basics but this is not always the case in other restaurants. The desserts are very good. An excellent address in the area. I highly recommend

01/10/2024: Cheap , very close to the old port and the bus station to go to Notre Dame de la Garde. We had the typical anice flavoured apetitif drink for 2€.

27/08/2024: We originally booked a different room but were recommended to change the room if we wanted a balcony - we changed to the duplexe which was more expensive and we were lead to believe this garden would be private however it was a shared garden for all guests. If we came again we would stay in the main hotel. The room felt a bit dated and a little dark - with not much privacy due to the shared garden, there was an extra charge for coffee pods and no milk provided - for the price we paid we felt these could be included. Other than this the people at reception were very friendly and the location was great.

14/09/2024: The mistral made us change our habits (sorry Shamrock 🫣) and it did us a lot of good! We didn't plan to eat there at first but simply have a pint but Friday evening...mistral...it's packed!. We are told that it is possible to return but that there is only a table of 2 left to eat... come on... we will stay and eat. What a discovery! Not only is the selection of taps incredible but the dishes were just as incredible. Simple but hearty dishes. 🥰 And the pompom on the Garonne 😅: the incredible service! We thank Simon who was truly incredible: efficient, kind, funny... In short, thank you Simon! (Perhaps we will see each other one day in Lille 😉). Looking forward to coming back very soon. 12/09/2024: The Queen Victoria in the heart of the Vieux Port, Marseille, is a delightful gem of English charm amidst the vibrant French surroundings. My recent visit was fantastic from start to finish. The warm and welcoming staff made us feel right at home, with attentive and friendly service that set the perfect tone for our meal. We ordered a croque madame and a croque monsieur with chips, and both were simply amazing! The sandwiches were perfectly prepared, with crispy bread, rich cheese, and beautifully cooked eggs. The chips were golden and crunchy, adding the perfect side to an already outstanding meal. The drinks were just as impressive. The beer was cold and fresh, and the wine was full of flavor – not watered down like you often experience in other places. It was evident they take pride in offering quality beverages to complement the food. Overall, the Queen Victoria offers a cozy, authentic English pub atmosphere with a touch of French flair. Whether you're after a quick bite or a place to relax with a pint, this is the place to be. I can't wait to return on my next trip to Marseille! Five stars, without a doubt.

11/09/2024: I took a raspberry millefeuille I found the price quite expensive, the puff pastry is very good as well as the raspberries, the cream is good but it is too compact and it is quite bland, lack of twist, a good vanilla pod or something else , lemon zest, etc… in short, a little thing is missing but it’s still good.

10/09/2024: A great bakery/pastry shop, very well located, very pleasant, offering a large covered terrace and ample parking. Their products are delicious and the tropezienne tart is pure killing. Go there with your eyes closed!

27/08/2024: Name change: “Au petit plat” The sandwiches are excellent as are the homemade sauces. A treat for the taste buds. Unbeatable value for money. Special mention to the chef and his Algerian sauce.

28/06/2024: The young man made me wait 20 minutes, plus he made me pay the normal rate even though it was happy hour and nothing indicates that it does not concern the classic recipes (Bmt and Melt) in short I would not order again
