08/10/2026: Exceptional atmosphere! A huge thank you to Sandra and her daughter Nina, as well as their wonderful waiter Sadio, for the perfect welcome. We loved the Caprese salad, the pasta was cooked to perfection, and the tiramisu was outstanding. A must-try Marseille eatery!

27/08/2026: A very warm and authentic place. A very wide selection of gourmet groceries, and the prices are very reasonable, as are the prices of the food and drinks served, which are of very good quality. Definitely worth a try!

10/07/2026: Didn't eat, just drank beers in front of the large screen during the France/Morocco quarter-final. The owner refused to serve me water in my bottle, a disgrace! From January 1, 2022, certain establishments open to the public (ERP) are required to provide at least one drinking fountain accessible to the public. Clearly, a place to avoid!

13/10/2026: Catastrophic hygiene, hair in the burger, old fries, sandwiches not fresh, they take them from old bags to get rid of unsold items; frankly, the quality and service are terrible.

10/10/2026: Disappointed with this McDonald's. Not everyone is like that, but that tall, bald, bearded guy is horrible—I've never seen anything like it. An employee who's already slow and on top of that, he doesn't find any solutions to problems, he just doesn't care. When I worked in Bangkok, I was proactive, smiling, and I served people.

18/07/2026: So I advise you to eat there during the day, but in the evening around 10 or 11 pm, don't go. Drug dealing outside, right in front of the door, cigarette vendors, rude and unpleasant, they stare at you! Employees in shorts and flip-flops who look bored... and have absolutely no desire to work... assaults outside, people spitting, undocumented people who bother you. Don't go there in the evening, the hygiene is horrible... in short, be careful, you risk your life in this kind of place, there's a lot of cleaning up to do. ...especially in front of the door, the tables full of people watching everything that moves to the right and left of the snack bar. Why don't you barricade it in, make a terrace where people feel safe and comfortable?

19/06/2026: In Marseille, I was looking for a restaurant and stumbled upon L'Étoile d'Égypte, which had opened just a week earlier. I had a cordon bleu for €11, a generous couscous, mint tea, and half a bottle of water. I couldn't believe it! I gave it a 9 out of 10. I have 43 years of experience in the restaurant industry in Chamonix Mont Blanc, and a good meal now and then really lifts my spirits.

27/07/2026: The sauce was very good, but apart from that, the meal wasn't anything special. The prices listed don't match the prices charged! Furthermore, the portions weren't huge, neither the fries nor the meat! But it was still acceptable...

19/09/2026: The restaurant is well located, but the hygiene is frankly appalling (it's not clean). There's smoke in the upstairs room. The grilled meats are decent, but the chicken is really bad and the bread was stale. I don't recommend it.

04/10/2026: I've tried loads of Quick restaurants, but this one is one of the best. The staff is 10/10, and so is the ice cream. It's a real winner, I highly recommend it.
