30/06/2025: I love the quality at Sushi H, the dishes are really delicious BUT they have a real organizational problem. It's not possible to wait so long to be served... 30 minutes before getting drinks and more than an hour for sushi. It seems like they take way too many takeout orders and that dine-in customers are forgotten. I prefer to be told clearly that they can't take my reservation rather than to say yes and not be able to serve us in a reasonable time.

14/11/2025: Simply sublime. A romantic evening in a warm and inviting atmosphere with the fireplace. We ordered the wild sea bass for two. A real treat. The cooking was perfect, the fish of exceptional quality. The wine, a Burgundy Hautes Côtes de Nuits, Château Charles, was sublime. Everything was perfect. The waiter was exceptionally kind and professional. I highly recommend this restaurant.

21/11/2025: A restaurant very close to the port...but in a quiet location. As its name suggests, you can enjoy a delicious meal at a very reasonable price in a simple and welcoming atmosphere. Everyone at our table loved the tagines...and I loved the French toast, though it wasn't for everyone! The chocolate mousse was excellent, according to others! The wine was very good and reasonably priced. Go without hesitation!

17/09/2024: Petit resto hyper chaleureux, cosy et un personnel très très attentionné.
Carte très sympa avec des classiques ( cagouilles) mais aussi des créations (tartare d’algue par exemple) le patron est un vrai passionné ,un bonheur d’échanger avec lui. Je ne suis pas allé dans un restaurant de ce genre depuis quelques décennies. Je recommande fortement.
14/09/2024: Très bon restaurant, les fruits de mer étaient excellent et le serveur très gentil et très bon conseiller surtout pour le vin. Très bonne expérience je recommande.

03/09/2024: Souvent ravi d'un café du commerce mais ici c'est du grand art, serveur gentils et souriants, verre de vin blanc a 2.30 euros, olives offertes et soleil presque garanti, merci, nous reviendrons assurément.
03/09/2024: Fruits de mer excessivement chers par rapport à bien d autres endroits dans l île . On ne sait pas combien de crevettes on va manger en revanche le prix on le connaît donc 4 ou 6 crevettes surprise ?? Lorsque l on pose la question le serveur frise l énervement .. Franchement pas agréable . Crêpes correctes .. on n a pas envie d y remettre les pieds

A very friendly welcome and pleasant interaction with the man in the cap.
We ordered a very well-stocked mixed platter for a reasonable price.
Since I always drink in moderation (the nickname I gave my wife), I drank a Cuvée des Trolls, which was very pleasant on the palate.

I recommend the exotic fruit draft beer...
On a small street in La Rochelle, away from the summer crowds.
